I started going to camp here when I was 10, and I became a counselor because I never wanted to leave! I used to be a really shy and reserved child but camp helped me blossom into a more confident and outgoing person. The staff go through a rigorous selection process and training before each summer. Believe me, they are some of the nicest and most compassionate people you will ever meet! There are activities for every kid ranging from more athletic programs like canoeing or BMX racing or soccer to more relaxed programs like arts and crafts or archery or fishing. Honestly, you will not find a better camp out there!

Camp Rotary truly is a bastion of camps long gone before her. In an age of technology, kids learn to be kids again when they are outdoors, learning new skills and forging new friendships. The staff selection is so rigorous, that unfortunately, the worst part of the camp is for so many campers who are in the vast majority who apply to be staff, only to be (sadly) turned away. The director, Rich Cowdell, has a smile so permanent and infectious that even the most homesick camper loves his presence. Given the chance, I would stay here forever.

My son has gone here for last 6 years. Best years of his life. He aged out at 16. Sadly. He learned so much. Friendship. Tolerance. Social skills. He was accepted eith open arms. When you arrive they call your name out and cheer. Brought tears to my eyes. Best. Best pace in the world. Worth every cent. Never worried about his wellbeing. Can't say enough good things. In at least the smallest of ways, Camp Rotary has beneficially changed the life of every person that's walked on its grounds. There is truly no place that cares, loves, and tries as hard as Rotary.

This is a great camp. I went here in the 1950's. also we had a reunion in 2005. Then and now the staff is great.

Camp Rotary located on Stiles Pond in Boxford, MA is just an overall GREAT camp. Children from all over the state, country and world attend this camp. The staff do an incredible job to make sure every child has a fun, welcoming and safe time by helping to form friendships among the campers and instilling a sense of comradery and spirit. This camp embodies the environment of "plain old fun" as campers can not bring their cell phones or social media along with them to camp. Campers have the opportunity to build new friendships, take part in various activities, sports and hobbies all while learning team building skills, social skills and leadership skills. The food is pretty decent and there is always a variety of options for those kids who can be picky eaters. I attended this camp as a camper for 6 years and then continued on to be a counselor there myself. I'd highly recommend it to anyone as it is reasonably priced for the experiences, memories and opportunities that Camp Rotary offers

Oh my rotary I LOVE this camp to the death! Everything is over the top amazing: the food, people, activities, even the crap shacks! I've been going for 8 summers now and this is my last as a camper, I've never been so sad to grow up. SERIOUSLY, go.to.this.camp.

This is my favorite camp ever! I met many new friends and the councolers are amazingly nice!!! All the activitys are super fun and there is a great variety of them! COME TO THIS CAMP YOU WILL LOVE IT!!

I just wish this scale went even higher. Camp Rotary is a place like no other. The staff is incredible and they are just the types of people you want to be taking care of your kids for a week. It is a place that shelters off the negative factors that can be a part of a childs summer and gives a kid a place to go to just be his or herself. The activities are all great, but what it really comes down to is how many new friends you make, and how great the staff is.

As a child, I spent many weeks as a camper at Rotary; and eventually went through the CIT program. After that, I went on to hold several staff positions including: Counselor, Unit Head, CIT Director, and even spent some time in the kitchen and on the maintenance staff. I did it all because the place is unlike no other. The staff is trained very well and they create an atmosphere that will positively impact the lives of every kid that goes through the gates of Camp Rotary... just like it did for me. The majority of the staff were once campers themselves so it works out well.

Camp Rotary is a very good camp. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. Kids have many different activities to choose from which is great. Most of the cabins have been redone and are great. Camp Rotary is a time you will never forget.

Good range of activities for lots of different types of kids! Junior girls' cabins could use an update. Staff is incredible...everyone is treated well. Friendly and fun atmosphere from the day I got there until I left. Made friends I will keep forever. Wish my stay could go on forever!

this camp is my summer!my reason for living! it has chnaged my life and given me so many memories. the staff is amazing and rarely does a camper not completly enjoy themselves. AGes 7-15 this is my last year and i dont knwo what i am going to do. it's a great program with a great director rich cowdell i love everythign there....the food is great larry is the man!
