Owasippe is the best place ever. it truly is "all the wealth of earth and heaven. I was a camper there from 2003-2006 and i was staff 2007-2008. i love every second of it and i miss it all the time. i even met my girlfriend while working there. i hope its there for years to come.

Of the several scout camps I have been to, Owasippe is by far the best. The staff works very hard to make sure every single person has a great time.

I love this camp, unfortunatly I think it has gone down hill in the last few years, especially in the area of the food being served (poor quality and not enough). This saddens me a great deal because the camp is so beautiful. My Grandfather and Father both camp there as scouts, and I am now the third genereation to attend. This camp it not only beautiful but holds a lot of scouting history. This is a great camp I hope that BSA can do something to restore it to its old grandeur. BLACKHAWK GO

Owasippe is awsome I was staff at Blackhawk but was born and raised at wolverine site 4 ood imes and a grat place. SAVE OWASIPPE

As a staff member of OSR I've got to say it is amazing! The facilities aren't always top of the line, but they make up for it in the beautiful scenery! SAVE OWASIPPE!

Owasippe Is Awsome!! i have camped there for 5 years as a scout and also been on staff. This is the oldest continusely running scout camp in America built in 1911. The camp sits on several lakes boardered by the manistee National forest. There are 2 boyscout subcamps each with about 20 sites one high aventure base with a high ropes coursr and a climbing wall, and a ventureing base for older scouts. There is also a family camp with crafts and games for the brothers and sisters of scouts. On the reservation there are 4 pools 2 lakes for boationg 1 is also used for swimming,3 shooting ranges 2 dining halls and a delivery service for highadventure and 1 of the subcamps.
