When I was at camp Chenoa I love it there. I spent the hole summer there. But now it closes down for ever. It on sale. I am very sad about it. Every was nice and the cool part about it was all the staff were from the other side of the world. I meet new Friends and staff.

I have gone to Chenoa once, and I personally loved it. Sure, it's run down, but it's a CAMP. Isn't a camp a place to get away from life and technology? Yes, there are bugs - welcome to New Hampshire. I think your experience here really depends on what you make of it.

I was told when I signed my 7 yr old daughter up for camp that she would be in a cabin with other girls and a counselor. It turned out that there were no adults in the cabin, lots of crying children at night, no supervision and little attention to those who were homesick, etc. This of course is my daughter's account of it, so it may be a little off, but two years later she still maintains that it was very difficult. Not the memory I wanted for her, of her first Girl Scout experience. Daytime activities were fun but not much bonding with counselors.

It was VERY dirty. Bacon was disgusting. Counselors were blonde and european. not helpful at all. I got ditched...made it a whole lot worse. singing porch is so stupid. I made friends w/ another girl..made it better..just wasn't very fun..make you camp in tents

This camp may be a little less fancy then the one you see in the parent trap but the councelars are so supportive and are like your role models. You are bound to make new friends and the activity choices are endless. The food is better. So wht the others say were true but camp chenoa has gotten so much better. I love how this camp really gets you into nature. You really work as a team with your bunkmates and there is so much for you to do. I suggest completley that you send your daughter here. It will be an adventure she will charish forever.

I went 2 camp chenoa last year, and it was ok. The counselor that i had was ok, but she was a little boring. The bathrooms were pretty gross, but the other buildings were good. Some of the abins could be a little nicer, too. They don't give much personal attention, though.

I went to this camp once everything is really far apart, tons of mosquitoes, gross food and you only get to shower every other day. The Vermont counterpart Farnsworth is much better.

I love this camp! It might only be a couple weeks but it's like a home with friends to meet and love forever! The staff tries so hard to make us have the time of our lives. Activities are so fun to do because you can enjoy almost anything. The food is 10 million times better than my schools cafeteris food. The cabins are cozy and it really brings you closer to nature. Who wouldn't want to go to this camp!

I didn't like this one. They didn't do any of the things they said we would do and the groups were to big.

one year i passed out after horsebackriding and had to go to hospital for dehydration. i was relly young how could i know that something was wrong with me? i personally think the councoulers should have noticed how pale i was and done something about it instead of being caught up in making bracelets. thats the other thing. thats all we did at camp. i signed up for some adventure course and got to go for a walk. that was the most adventurous thing i did. it was terrible. lets just say i didnt go back after the 4 years of attending.
