This camp is really amazing. Dorms are not air conditioned, so bring a fan! It's a bit expensive($635 one of the years I went), but you can apply for financial aid. I have so many new friends! All of the counselors are really nice and very helpful- they really listen to you and usually can accommodate food allergies. I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday at OWjL two times, and they really made it special. A good tip is to pack something semi- nice for the dance- khakis or a dress- because sometimes everyone wears nice clothes. BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLE! They hand them out on the first day, but they break VERY easily. Also, they have really good food:) There are also many really awesome classes- Boomerangs, writing classes, even classes on textiles! All over, this camp is truly amazing!!!! Make sure to register in December/ January!!!!

i have gone one year so far, and have just gotten accepted for a second year of camp. I'm so glad I will get to go back for another year and have made lots of friends. I am definitley planning on going back one more year if I get accepted so wish me luck!

I love OWjL camp ive gone for 2 years and i have had alot of fun. the staff is great the students never leave camp without new information on a topic they dont usually get to study at school. the facilities are located all over campus, with the exception of some buildings not have air conditioning, everything else is fine. the activities are fun, yyou can play dodgeball, or basketball, card games, swimming, the choices are endless. the personal attention is great, there are only a maximum of 180 campers allowed to go each week, so if a person cuts their leg or is homesick or just upset they are going to get plenty of attention. Now the worst part of it all is that it cost around $590. i want to go back one more time, because i love it and have had alot of fun in previous years.

I seriously really want to go back again! Im sooooooooooooo sad that we can't go in high school :( but I still love this place to death! I gained sooooooooooooooooo much confidence and sooooooooooooooooooooooo many friends who I also love to death. If you have the chance to go, I HIHGLY recommend this camp. the food is AWESOME too..... especially compared to school and cafeteria food. You will love this place too!
