This camp is terrible. Coaches are nasty to kids that aren't their own. The head coach is arrogant because he is well known and does not care if you and your child are unhappy. Lunch there is terrible and expensive. My daughter was put in with kids 2 levels below her level. This camp is absolutely awful!

My daughter is on Twistars team and loves the gym and adores the camp. The camp is a great learning experience, but also fun. The coaches expect the gymnasts to be serious about their gymnastics, but joke around with the girls and keep the atmosphere fun. The gymnasts are challenged and work hard, which is what you'd expect from one of the top gyms in the country. But you will also see the coaches laughing and teasing the girls throughout the day as they work. My daughter looks forward to these two weeks of camp each year!

My son went to Twistars camp last year and had a great time. He worked hard at the camp and then had some down time afterwards to hang out with the boys at the different activities they had planned. We look forward to this years camp:)

Twistars camp provided my girls an intensive training opportunity to further their gymnastics skills. The coaches were capable and responsive and the facility was fantastic.

Head guy is arrogant - PA-LEASE! Place is nice. Rest was just "fine". My child did learn some things.

My family appreciates the staff, and care they take with my child. It is something our child looks forward to every year. It is very exciting to hear about the skills that were worked on, the great time with the coaches, and the friendships that were made. T. Dean

This camp is GREAT for serious gymnasts. It provides some of the best trainers in the field not only with gymnastic skills, but life skills. My granddaughter has attended the last 3 years, at young age, and actually goes 2 weeks each year. It is hard work, but that's what provides good results. She LOVES it here!

My level 5 gymnast was put in with their preteam kids. My daughter is 8 and those kids were 6 with little focus. They did not evaluate the gymnasts to determine what group to put them in. They put all outside gymnasts down a level from their gymnasts. They think they are all that. I would not attend this camp again nor recommend it to anyone. They did cover the VERY basic fundamentals of gymnastics but if my daughter wanted more she had to keep at the coaches to give her more. The night time activities were not well organized. That caused for more stress. It was a lot of money for not much in return.

Our teams level 6 gymnasts were put into groups with kids in level 4. They worked on skills 2 levels below what they should have. The head coach was unresponsive to our pleas and did not change any of the groups. It was a waste of money. Our young level 5 gymnasts were put with preteam kids. We went to this camp because they are one of the top gyms in Michigan. However about 80 % of the kids are from their own team and we were treated as inferior. The coaches on the floor were pretty good and when our kids told them the level they were training they tried to accomodate them. But the head of the team was arrogant and did not care about our satisfaction or the girls. The activities were poorly organized and dissapointing. We stayed in a hotel but had one girl stay with a host family and that was a bad experience.
