The problem with this Camp is that they do not have the interests of the children first a foremost. I do not recommend this Camp. There are many other Camps in Ontario run with integrity. This is not one of them. The owner and Board of this Camp are driven by greed and power and egos. It puts the children last. They have a lot of difficulty feeling the heart of a child. They are too driven by wealth and society. My son has suffered as a result of the leadership of this Camp. My son Has suffered undue hardship because they could only see their own gain. It's sad that this persists.

Wow! This camp is my favourite place in the whole world! My counsellors were amazing and the activities were fantastic! Can't wait for next summer!!

I did not like this camp. I went with my friend and she felt the same way. The food was okay, and so were the activities. But the others kids were mean. They continuously teased and bullied me. I felt so hurt. I went to a staff member and told them what was going on.. They didn't do anything about it. I later told my parents about this. They wrote a letter to the camp explaining what happened. The camp responded saying that they didn't see any such thing happening and that I was probably exaggerating. The staff are not well trained. The activities are not well planned. I would say to NEVER send your child to camp here. My friend was not bullied, however she got sick during the session and she got lice. She got better, but the staff still made her participate in all of the activities that she did not feel well enough to do. I was honestly so scared when I went to camp there, and I was eleven. I hope that Onondaga will improve because they do have potential. However beware!

I was super impressed with the grounds and the staff when I dropped my son off at Onondaga and he wants to go back next year. I thought the counsellors were very nice and attentive to my son. What I didn't like was the lack of communication between camp and home. I was never sent information that I requested and my emails were either not answered at all or it took many days to receive an answer. For the money I spent I expect that the office staff be more attentive to parents especially if it is their child's first year at camp. Communication is important and I felt it was lacking.

Awesome camp!!! The staff make the place!! The activities were awesome - so many! Food was great too! Can't wait to go back!! Made all my best friends there!!

I have only gone to this camp for one year but it's changed my life. I loved my counsellors. A lot of the girls were really nice. And it's very casual. Chapel is just a funny play preformed by the counsellors. The food is great. It has so many activities and you get to choose. The dance is awesome. I love love love this camp!!!!

this camp is really really amazing! no matter what age your going to have a really great time- i would not say it is a traditional camp though. Much more north toronto- most kids from private schools. The activities are really fun, the food is great. It is also very safe. My kids had a very amazing time and they have been wanting to go back year after year!

I have been at Onondaga for seven years and think that it is the greatest place in the world. I have met the most amazing people and know that I will have those friends for the rest of my life. Everyone has always been so supportive of me and everyone works hard to make sure that you have a great time. Without camp i think i would be a different person than i am today.

This camp has so much potential to be great. It is a shame that it is not living up to it. The property is nice and the activities are great, however the staff are unattentive and not trained to deal with typical camping situations. The camp is increasing becoming a place where upper class, private school, white kids go. For the person who commented that the person who said onondaga was a bad experience should die-think about what you are saying. It is people like you who have left a bad taste in my mouth about this camp. The attitude of a lot of people at this camp needs some adjusting.

AMAZING!! BEST CAMP EVER!!! everyone is soo nice, the activities are really good, and the food is amazing. My parents are great cooks, and the cooks @ onondaga almost relate! if you want to have the best summer ever GO TO ONONDAGA!!!!

i guess i dont understand the point of these ratings. thos of u who wrote good rating that is fair because it is a good camp but those of u who wrote bad comments i have one bad question. Why??? Rating it bad is one thing but atleast explain urself, 2 bad comments and all i know of why u hate it is because people where mean. Whatever. The only bad thing about that camp was the mosquitos.

Onondaga is AMAZING i've been going there for 6 coming on 7years and they've been the best months of my life. the food is great, and people from all around the world go there. so if kids from europe come over to spend their summers its got to be good.

I've been going to this camp for nearly ten years and I have loved every single summer. The staff and directors are great people and very approachable. The activities are well maintained, for the most part, and it is easy to have a great time. Fun, safe and great food. What more could a camper ask for?

worst camp i have ever been to. i used to go to wapomeo but i switched for one year and it was a nightmare. all the people who go there are really mean.DON'T GO THERE!
