1/19/13   5     5     5     4     4   My son went on the camp last year and loved it. The biggest problem was that he wouldn't stop talking about it when he got home. The coaches were "super cool" and must know what they're doing because my son now has a little reputation for be a great snowboarder among he peers. He went bungee jumping and to a trampoline center to learn new maneuvers. Besides the great time he had he has also made great friends. For what you receive on the camp i thought it was very well priced and the supervision was perfectly fine for my 12 year old. I would not hesitate to send my son to the Dave Murray camp again and its a shame they don't operate a winter one as well. RID: 43433
Click to report rating    7/11/08   2     5     4     1     2   This ski and snowboard camp was a dream of my son's. He saved all year to pay half the costs, as it was also very expensive. I drove him to Whistler from Seattle, where we live for this camp and it turned out to be a terrible experience. Although the coaches were superb, and my son learned a lot, there was a distinct lack of supervision and guidance at this camp. Having just turned 14, my son still requires a lot of guidance. He's not as independent as we would like him to be. Since no counselor was assigned to his room, which he shared with two other boys, he was left to his own wits most of the time. In addition, he hated the food, which was exactly the same every day for both breakfast and lunch; he was injured and received no followup medical care, left his skis on mountain on the last day with no way to retrieve them and went without shoes all week because his were lost when he was transported to hospital for stitches. Don't send your kids to this camp if you expect supervision. RID: 24759
