Digital Media Academy (DMA) is not offering refunds for a camp in Toronto (T) Game Development with Unity & VR for my son. DMA canceled camps last year and didn't provide a refund. They extended a credit but are now offering virtual camps only. I paid $1450 for 1 week. They should either provide an in-person camp, or a refund, or an extension of the credit until in-person camps can be accommodated. DMA says my credit will expire on Aug 31, 2021. They have changed their terms & conditions as of June 2020 I have contacted them and tried to resolve the issue but they have refused

Do not send your child to this camp. My son had no internet connectivity for a Game Programming with Python course. The site instructor at NYU said that it was actually just a Python coding class, but the reality is that the graphics API did not work and so they had to just convert it to a basic course, and could not build any games. Not worth the money. Go to ID Tech instead.

I just completed my second summer with DMA! Every day, the kids came home feeling inspired and empowered with their newfound skills! Highly recommend to any parent who wants their kids to have a positive experience learning STEM skills. Looking forward to next summer!

I have three kids, all of whom have attended Digital Media Academy over the years. I highly recommend this camp. The instructional staff especially have always been top notch and while expensive, you won't find a better value.

My daughter went to their UCLA campus. The teachers were so unqualified and they let the 13year olds roam the college campus unsupervised (where college students drink and smoke and make out.) They do not supervise at all and I addressed my concerns with the administrator who basically blew me off. If you are a helicopter mom and care about the safety of your child, then I strongly urge you to consider another school!

My 13 yo son is interested in film/video making and we sent him to the DMA Digital Filmmaking camp at UCSD. The "instructors" apparently are not experienced or do not have any interest in teaching the subject. There is no instructing going on. Neither are any of the additional activities outlined on the website taking place. Total waste of the $1,100. Wish I had seen the negative posts before committing. ..............................................................................................

My 9 yo attended and not only had a great time, but learned much that is valuable to how he views the world around him. Young, copious, competent staff were in tune with the kids' needs, not just wants. We are signing him up for an extra week next year. Great camp and great value.
