This was my daughters first camp experience. We were dissapointed. We toured the sleeping quarters, after she complained.The cabins were nice, but, they recently added tree-houses, and that's where she opted to stay. It was tiny. Three bunks crammed into a 6 by 6 sleeping room that was dirty.The door wouldn't close and she was eaten alive by mosquitos. To top it off there were teenagers running the whole camp for 4-6th grade. When my daughter was repeatedly harrased, they told her"deal with it." Her swimsuit was stomped on, a few girls smeared mud all over her things. She told the couselors but nothing was done. She asked to call home but wasn't given the option. She threw up twice because the whole experience made her sick. It makes me upset that these kinds of things happen to kids. You would think when you pay good money to send your child to a religous based camp they would be safe and have a feel good time. This was not the case. I'm disgusted. I want an appology and money back!
