I went to this place a long time ago back in 2006 and 2007. To simply put it into words, it was the worst two years of summer I ever had, and you know that it's bad when the best part was leaving the camp for four days for a wrestling camp.

This camp is truly amazing. This will be my 10th year at camp this summer and I already cannot wait. Everyone is so close and friendly, and the bonds I have created with tons of people throughout the years are unbreakable. Neil and Billy are great guys, and they truly have the camp as their number 1 priority. They will do anything it takes to rid the camp of the unnecessary bad reputation it's been carrying these past few years. I would recommended this camp to anyway. You will not regret it. I know everyone single person's name on camp, something that no other camp can say. I wouldn't give up one day of my years at this camp. It is amazing. What TPC will bring should be even more amazing. Everyone truly lives 10 months for 2. Thunderbird Point is our home, now and forever.

With the new ownership I can see that the camp is going to better than ever. All the kids have a warm and friendly relationship with both Neil and Billy. I understand that improvements will be made to add additional activities than there was last summer. I am looking forward to a great time

When i first started going to this camp it was the most amazing place in the world, my second home. A lot of things have changed in the past few years and although the camp to me hasnt changed one bit im sure it has to others. The facilities are beautiful and i do recommend sending your kids here because i do believe changes will come and for the better.

We sent our kids there this summer again hoping that new ownership would translate into new results. We were discouraged right from the beginning and disappointed with the same old same old. Nothing changed for the better and in doing research this past fall, we have discovered many other options that are in the same price range that seem to offer a better experience.

Thunderbird Point is taking back the old philosphy that summer camp should be "old fashioned" fun with making lifetime friends a top priorty. As we have grown with time, so have our children whom adore spending any available time with their "CAMP FRIENDS". The care, love and direction that the children are given allsong with professional guidance in so many activities cannot be beat. The kids get down to earth with sports, swimming, arts & crafts, camp fires, boating, tennis, drama, dance, aerobics, go carts, and on and on. The spirit of camp flys high even in the rain. The camp is very well maintained (except for the toilets- but what camp can keep up with the toilets?),from the bunks, dinning hall to the new facilities being built. I highly recommend this warm, old fashioned camp.

I LOVE THUNDERBIRD POINT!! formerly known as camp summit, "TPC" has been a life changing experience for me summer after summer. This is going to be my sixth year and i plan on eventually becoming a staff member =]. Neil and Billy are so nice and friendly. Neil always gives my group free canteen and midnight madness. lee organizes all of the tornaments and does a great job for the people who love to become involved in athletics. the campers are so nice here and i made many best friends. i love thunderbird point!

What a great opportunity camp for anyone just starting out to be at the most up and coming camp around!!! The camp recently changed owners and even this past summer you could feel the difference! They are investing in new and improved facilities that will simply enhance all the camp has to offer. My kids have been going since 2002 and they only wish they were younger! Can't wait till next summer these guys really know what they are doing and will do what ever is necessary! The negative comments are based on the old regime!!!

Hi i have been to this camp for 2 years and honestly through all the changes that it has gone through none of it has been good and i believe none of it will be good. the staff are very incompetent and lazy the facilities horrible. Some of the activities are fun but i don't think the whole process is good its like being in school forced to do activities you don't like. I honestly think i wasted my money on this HORRIBLE camp.

Few parents have a clue of what goes on at overnight camps. As a weekend warrior, with a spouse and children here, this camp has had its' challenges in recent years. Summer 08 was the summer that almost wasn't, but campers and parents got a peek at what the new Thunderbird Point is all about. New owners/directors want to ensure the kids are safe and have fun, know the importance of communicating with parents, and treat staff with respect. Midnight madness, kids running for golf cart rides, comedy nite poking fun at directors and campers giving the new owner a hug goodbye before boarding the bus for home is all an indication that the new "recipe" at Thunderbird Point is a recipe for success. Plans are already in place for a new indoor gym and more is promised. If you want your child to be a little fish in a big pond, send them elsewhere. If you wish them to be a big fish in a smaller pond, that is sure to grow, and have a great summer camp experience, check out the new Thunderbird Point

Since the new owners have taken over it has been my best summer ever. I have been going here since 2000. I love the Midnight Madness!
