The bathrooms are ok on the first day. After 2 days or so though, they get pretty dirty and there is mud and stuff everywhere. The meals are ok also, and we are allowed to bring snacks and stuff also so that is fun. My fav activity is prob ropes.

My kids went for the fourth year and had the usual great time. The staff is excellent and the director who was there when I went years ago is fantastic! Not sure what the one person is complaining about, my oldest was homesick and we talked to her on phone and with director. Wanted her to stay and she did, he let her call home each night. Learned to get over the "small problems" and carry on. This place is outstanding!!!

I keep hearing about how wonderful the staff is so im not sure why I didn't have the same exspereance. My daughter went and was having a difficult time, all the kids in her cabin were friends her only friend ended up going home so she of course wanted to do the same and the councilors did nothing as she's packing her bags in tears they never said a word just said bye as she walked out. We went back the next day with hopes of figuring it out putting her in another cabin with her cousin and making her comfortable to stay and the director was also no help just keep saying theirs nothing I can do. Im very disappointed.

I highly reccomend this camp. Everyone there is so nice. The always are willing to help you. You are able to pick 5 different activities, and there is a sixth, your swim lesson. I have to admit, the facilities could be a lot nicer. The girls bathouse has like 8 stalls and 12 showers. But I could care less. If if you are really spoiled, don't go to this camp. You will be miserable. It is perfect for anyone that loves the outdoors, and is comfortable trying new things.

Lourdes camp is the best summer camp ever!! It was a great experience. I love it! You should definitely look into it.

Perfect. My favorite place to bring kids and family. Staff is great. The director and co director are two of the nicest people. Go to Lourdes Camp!

course my input may be a little dated as I went there, camper and worker from '48 to '59, as in 1948...most formative experience of my life...many enduring friendships...life values instilled, and I learned how to swim!

The cabins need some work but next year will be 70 yr anniversary. Great staff led by director who has been there forever, food okay (my kid like anything) bathrooms were fine (250 kids using them all day-PLEASE!)activites great and a value for summer camp.

For a camp that has been open for over 50 years, it is a true summer camp. The camp appears to be old and rustic, because it is old and rustic. I went there as a camper for 8 years, and some of my best friends then are still my best friends now. Majority of the staff worked at camp, so they know how to give the true camp experience.

My kids have gone to Lourdes for five years and love it. It's alomost 70 yrs old and may look it but it speaks of tradition. As for seperating the 13 and 14 year old boys and girls, I'm for it!

The staff there is fantastic they are having such a good time working there it leads to a positive camper experience the area is beautiful, so much fun to be had there.

It's a great camp! I loved it! Yeah the foods not that hott but it was one of the best times I've ever had! I wish I could've go every summer! It was amazing and fun! If you get the chance GO!! I LOVED IT!!!

I went here as a kid for many many summers and I have to say that it was truly my favorite part of the whole year. I loved everything.. the ropes course and the "party boat" if they still call it that were so much fun. I formed some of the closest bonds of my life. Ten years later I still keep in touch with camp friends. The food isn't wonderful if you're picky but for camp food it's not bad at all. There's so many fun activities at night too like dances, talent shows, etc. I always had fun and was never bored. I don't think I got homesick for a second. The counselors are pretty great too. It's not very religious, although I believe you can attend mass, but it's still a great camp. By the end of the week my very first year, nearly everyone knew my name, I had 20 penpals, and the director/owner knew my name. I was always very impressed and never wanted to leave. I don't see what people are complaining about on here bc I know my friends and I were in love with it!

Not the greatest. First of all, why bother seperating the teens of opposite gender? I could understand that if the camp was a lot more religious in it's program, but it's all about making friends and having a good time, very little religion involved at all. The food was terrible and the cabins? Horrible. The only good part was the staff.
