Click to report rating    4/1/17   1     1     1     5     1   this summer i attended rockwood adventures and it was the worst experience of my life! It got to the point where i wanted to get a plane out of there! First of all, the counselors are rude, nasty, favor people and are not fun. I saw them texting about me from seat to seat saying they wanted to send me off out of the state. I felt extremely bullied and unwanted. The director only lets us walk on one side of the street and i feel like i'm in juvenile detention. The director holds up the whole camp and we arrive late to activities because she is far behind. She will take your phone away, even though it's your possession (and summer)!!! There was a fire in our hotel and she told us to calm down and walk slowly, this is an extreme hazard!!! The hotels are rat infested and a place for truckers! Be aware that there are black posses roaming the hallways so don't be alarmed at the knock on your door at 3:45 am! The food is HORRIBLE!! and not to mention people steel your things! not recommend! RID: 50584
Click to report rating    6/14/08   5     3     4     5     5   Went to RWA for two summers. The director is so sweet and although she runs a tight ship I had so much fun. My first summer was simply amazing. I made so many amazing friends who I still talk to after all these years. The counselors were awesome too! The hotels weren't so great and some of the places we ate weren't either. However, things have changed and I have heard that RWA is getting a lot more cliquey and more and more snobby kids are going. Great experience before a cross country teen tour! However, think twice about it, I've heard it's not what it used to be. RID: 23851

Click to report rating    12/20/07   3     4     4     5     5   omg so i went here this summer. n it was like the best summer evr. some councelers could be a little nicer but whatevr. amazing things to do like every day. the first week is the worse of course. but like the people are amazing. the amusement parks are always fun. EVERYTHING is amazing, except for having to carry your (50 lb) bag like everywhere (its heavy when you bring like 20 outfits n blow dryers, straighteners, curlers, ect.) N the bus gets boaring after 6 hrs (9 hrs. going to Cananda) The last thing is if your not a fan of old country buffet (im not) u might not wanna go (we dident go too ofter but we went like 5 times over the summer i guess you could say) BUT I WOULD DEFF. RECOMENT GOING THER! RID: 18182
