8/19/15   5     5     5     5     5   My two children attended this camp - which has beautiful facilities. One child attended the regular session, and one attended the literary theme camp. They both had a wonderful time and can't wait to return. Thank you to the wonderful staff! RID: 49098
Click to report rating    12/2/13   5     5     5     5     5   My son attended camp last summer and loved it. When he came home I heard so much about "Ben" the counselor. He told me all the activities he tried each day. I liked that the younger children stayed with their group. RID: 46330

Click to report rating    8/28/13   5     5     5     5     5   This camp has an amazing ability to make me feel relaxed. I've never felt more at peace than when I am on this property. It's a combination of everything, but mostly it's the attitude of the staff ... they're welcoming and helpful, understanding and funny, just plain old good people. It honestly seems to make their day when you have a good time! There are lots of things to do, or nothing at all, across so many acres you just can't cover them all. RID: 45888
Click to report rating    8/27/13   4     5     5     5     5   I love CCW! The atmosphere there is so encouraging and inspiring! I can be myself and make friends I would have never met otherwise. I feel self-confident by the time I leave, and loved all year! RID: 45884
Click to report rating    8/27/13   5     5     5     5     5   CCW is a wonderful camp! It is nestled up on a woodsy hill. There are cabins with cozy bunk beds. The staff and counselors are amazing with the kids. It is a very warm and inviting atmosphere that encourages good qualities and values. As far as value for money I can say that they have a wonderful scholarship program that helps families that would have difficulty let their children have a wonderful summer experience. My daughter made friends from France and Spain that were at CCW for the campers exchange. I can say that when I am finished with my degree and get my new career I would be honored to contribute to the camp to help others who are in financial need to give their child such a wonderful experience! Even my shy guy did wonderfully! One of his counselors immediately found out what his interests were and set him at ease with me leaving. I highly recommend both CCW and Byndenwood. RID: 45883

Click to report rating    8/26/13   5     5     5     5     5   I'll confess to having little experience of other camps for comparison - but CCW is an incredible world unto it's own, peopled by some of the most impressive young people I've ever had the honor of knowing. Truly a worthwhile enterprise in every sense - if more could experience it, far more people would prioritize the summer camp experience in the lives of their children. RID: 45877

Click to report rating    8/26/13   5     4     4     5     5   My 3 summers spent working at CCW were some of the best memories to date. The 1st summer there, my "cabin" was actually a large tent...very rustic, no electricity. But so fun! And most of the kids loved it! The bathrooms, or KYBO's, were VERY rustic w/no showers. You had to hike across camp to get to a shower. Over the years they eventually updated all sleeping quarters to very nice cabins. The bathroom facilities were also updated and extremely nice. This camp encourages both staff & campers to have the best summer of their life in a safe manner. Lots of fun activities, adequate down time, friends to last forever. Very much a camp-camp...not a fancy "vacation resort" type. LOVED IT! RID: 45856

Click to report rating    8/22/13   5     5     5     5     5   My oldest daughter went for the first time this year (2013), and she will definitely be back. The staff was kind, the programs engaging, and the facilities were gorgeous. RID: 45797
Click to report rating    1/23/12   5     5     3     5     5   I loved the camp but it was just a little too small. It had only a short list of activities and the food was god awful the reason I gave it a lot of 5 s is because despite the food I had a lot of fun while therei made a lot of friends and became close with many girls. My counselors were wonderful and the cabins beautiful. They had a pool with a water slide but I never got to use it. Another thing I don't like is that it is not on a lake I didn't like that we had to drive there every day for sailing. I noticed that some of the long term campers there were a bit more superior and I ended up sitting with other first timers at all of the meals RID: 40183
Click to report rating    11/3/11   5     5     5     5     5   I attended this camp for 4 years and LOVED every minute. Their facilities are top notch and activities are amazing. When I was there tradition was each counselor had a nickname and the campers tried to figure out what their real names were. I loved this tradition and only managed to find out 1 name! A true summer camp experience. RID: 37204

3/1/09   5     4     5     5     5   I attended Camp Conrad Weiser for 3 summers and am returning this summer for a 4th. I live about an hour and 15 minutes away from the camp but people attend from all over the world. Many counselors are from the United Kingdom; a few from Spain, France, Australia and scattered countries accross Africa and Europe. Also some counslors attend from the great USA. Last summer there was a lot (maybe 15)campers from Spain. Most of the campers attend from Pennsylvania and surrounding states. There are different activities that can be catagorized as: adventure (ropes courses, rock wall, mountain boarding and biking); shooting sports (22's, trap, archery, and bb's) sports(basketball, soccer, tennis, volleyball and frisbee) arts and crafts(wood burning, rotating crafts, jewelry making)water sports (swimming, canoeing, kayaking, boating). The activites are chosen every Sunday, and some activities have a minimum age (such as trap and 22's, high ropes course, canoeing, kayking, and boating RID: 29136
