Click to report rating    8/15/16   1     1     1     1     1   The counselors do not care about your kid. My child was being bullied and the counselor just said its ok. No action was taken. It's way overpriced and very disorganized. During rainy days they just sit under tents playing bingo for 3 hours. I took my child out and sent her to frog bridge, BEST DECISION OF MY LIFE! RID: 49963

7/9/15   1     1     1     1     1   PLEASE READ. I have worked at RH for 3 years as a counselor for 3 and 4 year olds. First of all, they pay us slave wages and make up for it by making the parents tip us a ridiculous amount of money. Also, just this summer, a camper pooped in the pool. Instead of making us get out, they made us stay in, scooped it out, and SHOCKED THE POOL WITH THE CAMPERS IN IT. When i thought it couldn't get worse, a camper puked in the pool and, once again, they made us stay in the pool. Its absolutely disgusting and unsanitary. I refused to go in the pool, but as far as the kids go, they're always forced to go in. Jodi is a nasty woman who plays favorites with the counselors, and don't be fooled by the "good" ratings on here, she tells the staff to come on here and give good ratings. I used to love working here, but now, I will never come back. And the way they treat the campers makes me never want to send my child to camp. RID: 48845

7/1/15   1     3     3     2     3   This is the worst camp ever. The division leaders call constantly about nonsense. If you complain then they label your child. Jodi is all about drama but tries to act like she is the greatest mom in the world. If she doesn't like your child watch out. I have never experienced children being treated so horribly. Billy is useless It is all about the money for him. Best decision I ever made was to pull them out of here. There are so many other camps in the area and they treat the kids and staff way better than rolling hills. RID: 48797

10/10/14   5     5     5     5     5   My kids have been going to Rolling Hills for a few years now and love it! They run to the bus each morning with big smiles on their faces and come home even happier. Jodi and Billy do a great job and have an amazing staff working with them. If you're thinking about sending your kids to this camp, do it! You and your children will be thrilled. RID: 48066

4/4/14   5     5     5     5     5   I worked at Rolling Hills last summer as a couselor and absolutely adored it. The staff is incredibly kind and professional, the kids are fun and energetic, and the parents are generally a joy to talk with. Jodi Pfeffer, in particular, is an outstanding manager. She is fun, but fair and extremely professional. Both the parents and kids seem to really adore her. The camp is great for kids of almost every age and really provides campers with the classic summer camp experience. I interviewed with a number of other camps in the area and none were as gracious, professional, accommodating and just plain fun as this one. I'd highly recommend Rolling Hills to future campers and employees alike! RID: 47127
Click to report rating    3/11/14   5     5     4     5     5   I Just recently started working at rolling hills last summer and found it to be a great working environment. All of the staff members want to be there with the kids and are involved with each individual child. Even if it rains there are pre-planned events just in case and all of the kids there love being there no matter rain or shine. (Also I do not think I have ever worked somewhere where safety and cleanliness is such a high priority). I only wish I knew of this camp when I was a kid and to be as lucky to have gone here. As for the staff I have had no problems with any of the supervisors or any other staff of any kind. They all make sure that you are doing your job properly but are nice. They treat everyone with respect and are always looking in ways to improve the quality for the kids. Overall the best place I have worked. RID: 47022
Click to report rating    3/11/14   5     5     5     5     5   Being a mother of two children(ages 4 and 9),it isn't easy to find a summer camp that you feel comfortable leaving your children at. Rolling Hills is the only camp which I would fully recommend to any parent.I of course had heard things about all the camps so I looked at many of them.To start with the cleanliness of Rolling Hills is remarkable. I had heard great things about Jodi the director and after speaking with her as compared to administrators of other camps, I felt better knowing my children were going to be in good hands. She is a very caring person and you can tell after a few minutes of talking with her that she takes pride in what she does and it makes me feel better knowing that my kids will be taken care of.I sent them there last summer and the entire camp experience even exceeded my expectations and my kids haven’t stopped talking about going back this summer. Anyone looking for a day camp for their children, I would highly recommend taking them to Rolling Hills Day Camp! RID: 47021
Click to report rating    3/8/14   5     5     5     5     5   Rolling Hills is the best camp in the area! I am a mother of 3 who has been sending my kids here for years and I highly recommend Rolling Hills to everyone!!! My kids absolutely love it. The counselors and staff are so nice, and Jodi makes sure to give every child the special care they need. My kids talk about it all winter and can't wait to go back every year. They have amazing activities that my kids love and all the facilities are almost brand new and beautiful! My kids even love the different variety of food they serve for lunch! And I must say that I love the art projects my kids make. I have them as decorations all over my house! Rolling Hills has so much to offer and I recommend anyone looking for a day camp in the central Jersey area to send their kids to Rolling HIlls! RID: 47007
Click to report rating    2/18/14   2     4     4     4     3   If you want to be belittled by Jodi, this is the camp to work for. Im not going back this summer. I got a job at another camp that respects their staff.. RID: 46785
Click to report rating    12/1/13   1     1     1     1     1   rolling hills is one of the worst camps to send your kids to. dont be fool jodi doesnt care about your kids, she loves drama. She calls staff members in to tell her what happing in camp she only want to hear about the drama. RID: 46319
Click to report rating    10/23/13   1     2     2     1     1   This summer camp is a total disappointment! Not worth the money at all!! Last summer it was torture for me as a parent. I had a horrible experience dealing with the division leader. The director, Jodi, tried to step in but didn't really handled things well. I could not wait for the summer to be over! My biggest regret is not pulling my child out of that camp as soon I realized what I big mistake it was to send him there. RID: 46184
7/23/13   1     3     3     2     2   Billy and Jodi are very mean and don't care about the kids. They do not deal with the problems within the group. My child was targeted as trouble and Billy never once cared enough to get involved. The only time he even spoke to me was when I threatened legal action then Billy spoke to me. Jodi said terrible things about my child in the presence of Billy and he never said a word. I would never recommend this camp to anyone. RID: 45316
5/15/13   1     1     1     1     1   WARNING PARENTS! DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!!! I worked at this awful camp for one very long horrible summer. Since I worked there I got the inside look on how it's really run- don't be fooled- on rainy days kids stand under tents- no real activities are planned. the directors are a nightmare- we were told BY THEM that they only want your money- they look at your kids and see dollar signs! they could not care less about your kids!!! it is dirty and horribly run- try frogbridge instead- it's a little more money but a much better camp from what I'm told. Plus Marlboro/Manalapan has plenty of good camps. Counselors sit around- dont help kids with activities- kids wander around with no stablility or set schedule there- it's a free for all. they put on a great show for the parents but that's not reality. Click to report rating    9/23/12   5     5     5     5     5   This camp is amazing. I have been sending both my kids here for the past few years (they are 7 and 3). They can not wait for next summer. The facilities are beautiful and most are brand new, especially the new pool for the younger kids. My son loved the new froggy slide. My daughter loves the food and they give so many other options in case a kid doesn't like what they are serving on a particular day. The staff is friendly, and anytime I had a problem I felt completely comfortable calling either of my children's group leaders and they were always nice and helpful. Overall Rolling Hills is the best camp, I would never send my kids anywhere else. If you are looking for a day camp in the central jersey area you would be crazy not to choose Rolling Hills. Click to report rating    7/25/10   1     1     1     1     2   Very unhappy with how the summer is going, my son's counselors are not dealing with problems within his group. Rolling Hills seemed like a good choice at the start, but many events are making me question my decision... RID: 33482
Click to report rating    1/2/09   1     3     3     1     1   We miss Charles- bring him back now. He used to care bout the staff and we worked hard cause of him. Jodi and Billy are mean. RID: 28272

Almost everyday they have different activities - they have fun stuff and nice friends there too. I can't wait to go back next summer. RID: 19296

Click to report rating    7/24/07   4     4     4     4     1   This camp was nice but overrated. Imagine paying over $4ooo for 6 weeks! What do you have that others don't? Does towel service really cost that much more? Your prices are higher than your competion. You are good, but so are others who charge less! RID: 13249
