If you're considering a summer camp for your child this is the one to pick. From personal experience, I can tell you that the memories you'll make here will stay with you for years, even decades. The location provides a scenic overview of the Blue Ridge Mountain range and offers a close glimpse at the mountain of Gaar. The friends you'll meet here are like no other and are refreshingly normal compared to the rich and snobby of Northern Virginia and other suburbias. While the facilities look rundown and rotting from a distance, they are not only well cared for, but give the camp a personality. This is my absolute favorite place on earth, but I have noticed it's a bit harder to participate a whole lot if you have a bad attitude or are extremely unwilling to try new things. Athleticism is valued here and if you're not comfortable with a little bit of friendly competition, you're not going to have the maximum amount of fun. Parents, please consider this amazing place. You won't regret it.

Omg this place is amazing. i have been going for five years and i feel like it is my home. all of the games are so much fun and original. everybody there is my second family. the sixth week is the craziest week, so only go if u can handle large amounts of AWESOMENESS! but non the less alll weeks are a blast and nobody there has ever been mean to me. its a wasste of money not to go. i have mad friend there from calafornia, montana, alska, and massachusetes. the owner, coach trimm is one of my favorite people on earth and all of the counserlers (family members) have tought me something wether its how to throw a frissbee or spit ten feet.BEST PLACE ON THE PLANET

This is by far the most amazing sleep-away camp on the east coast! If you come here, you will be provided with a bunch of fun memories and friends. No matter how old you are, this will make your summer special! I have now been going for 5 years, and love it just as much as my 1st year! Even though it's on the pricey side, it will be an unforgettable experience!

Camp Varsity was fun I had a great time I was very popular it is so easy to get popular! I was in youngest Boys and they are crazy! But I am not going back :( Which is very sad I've only been there 2 times. -Benjamin Steele

Literally this is my first day back at home and I already miss it. If you haven't been to a sleep away camp start with this one it's worth it, and it's my second home

This was my second year at camp varsity and I love and miss this camp every year. It had a great theme and I was in an extraordinary cabin. The counselors are previous campers that WERE ASKED to come back to camp. To my surprise, a lot of the counselors could get paid but most chose to do this tough job for free and volunteer to do this. There are so many memories and I fell to my knees crying once I was back at home cause I had already missed the camp. This is the type of camp you remember when your in your hospital bed dying. This is a place to send your child. Believe me, the price is nothing compared to the experience and love you walk away with.

THIS CAMP WAS AMAZING! I went because my friend recomended it to me and it was literally the best place I have ever been to. Their food there was'nt like normal camps, it was delish! I am going there in June again and I am so excited to hear all the spooky stories, the secret pals, (wink) the making of knew friends and counslers, the activity's, and much more! If you havn't considered going to camp varsity, go! There lake was really fun and i tried MANY new things there. And it's not that expensive than most camps cost. So if you haven't sighned up, do so and start packing!

Camp Varsity is the best place in the world. Like honestly I wished I lived there. Last year was my first year going and it was the best week of my life. I cried when I got home because I knew I couldn't go back for another year. I made so many memories there, it's so fun! Even some of the activities that I usually wouldn't enjoy like fishing or horse back riding was still great. All of the consulers are amazing and have all been former campers so they know how to make things even more fun. To me they didn't even feel like they were our consulers, more like our friends or older sisters(or brothers). The food there is awesome. BTW, BEST ROLLS EVER!!! So I recommend that if you haven't been there yet, go. Cuz I garente that you won't regret it, the only thing you'll regret is not going. So sign up next year and start packing!

Awesome camp with very original, cool games. The staff is amazing and Ms. B. makes the best rolls you have ever tasted. Great camp with a different theme each week and a huge dance at the end. Reccomended to anyone especially people 11-15.
