I went to a day camp at Firwood when I was younger and just felt very uncomfortable and I didn’t want to go back. Now to hear of the physical and sexual abuse that have occurred here as well as firing a counselor (who has gone to this camp for years) due to his sexual orientation...and the deaths of campers.... If you are ok with sending your kids to a camp with hypocritical christians who allow horrible tragedies, than this is the camp for you.

It was a life changing experience for me as a camper, so i decided to work there and that was one of the best decisions of my life. Firwood is so awesome! The councilors or very loving and great role models for campers.

One of the BEST experiences of my entire life. I went with a group of friends and when we first arrived it looked as though it had been taken out of a movie. Even if you aren't religious, the counselors don't shove anything down your throat or force you to be religious unlike many catholic schools. I can not stress enough how well-taken care of I was and my counselor and us our still in touch. I cannot wait to go back it was so amazing.

OMG !! I don't know where to start. Firwood is the BEST place on earth. The staff are so fun, nice, and helpfull. The food is delicious and made fresh. You are never bored there is always fun stuff going on. This year will be my 3 time going and I can barely sleep cause I am so existed. I can honestly say that this is the best camp EVER!!!!

I LOVE Firwood! My first year was '06, I was 12 and I have been going every summer since! This year I have applied to be a CIT! Firwood is what I look forward to every year. It's my home away from home. I feel so comfortable there, it's so fun, the people are so friendly and caring, and I always grow spiritually when I'm there. It's a beautiful place in the woods, like a legit camp! Great Christian environment and TONS of fun!! :)

Firwood has a history of safety and self evaluation to improve facilities and provide a great experience to the campers. Staff are trained and taught to love every camper to give each child a great time at camp. My kids have been both campers and staff members and consider their time and work as being valuable to their development as volunteers with a good work ethic and great friendships developed through their camp experience. Firwood is Fun and so much more!

This camp is truly amazing! You feel so loved and special when your there by everyone! They're all so nice and cool. I want to go back so freaking badly I wish it was summer 2011 right now!! I miss it even though I got back yesterday...

Firwood is a place unlike any other. Kids and teens will remember their week at camp here for the rest of their lives. The staff is caring, compassionate, and love your kids and each other. A huge range of fun things to do here, both on land and water. This is one you need to check out. Worth the trip from Vancouver, Seattle, and beyond.

I love this place with all of my heart! I have been going since 3rd grade and I am now a junior awaiting to be a CIT. Camp Firwood is my heaven on earth and where I can totally be myself and let me go. The staff is so much fun when you get into high school camp because they become your friends more then counselors. Spray makes the camp better and better with each year and deserves much praise for what he does. There is always something to do and see when there. Never know what to expect. Without camp firwood my summers would be boring and my life would not be where it is right now. I have made many amazing friends from this camp and learned life lessons from the nightly talks. I loved listening to the talks from the CIT's and talkers. Some of the most amazing ones are Stitch, Gonzo and Ifle. If you could go to any camp I would recommend this one!!!

I was a camper at firwood from 85-87. I loved it so much that I worked on staff until 92. My best friends, today, are people that I met at Firwood.
