Click to report rating    5/25/18   5     4     4     4     3   Good, bad, or indifferent, Camp All-Star is a place for positive motivation as a team. Those seeking perfection in a interactive sports camp for your "gonna be" professional athlete, seek a personal professional athlete. This camp is about building the team, camaraderie, working with others at all levels. There are a few sports with more of a strategic focus such as football, and hockey. Therefore, for all that feel this is not for you, please do not ruin it for the rest of the campers. No place for negativity here. Enjoy! My son is 14 and this is his 4th year. He is super active and I don't intend upon him becoming a professional athlete. I want him to acquire a great education to seek professional career opportunities. If you feel you child needs to depend upon their athletic abilities only, please find a tutor to get a great education for you child. Its a one in a million shot that they will get paid for their athletic ability. Focus on their education not athletics. Hooah! RID: 51844
Click to report rating    11/10/16   2     2     1     1     1   3 staff members left camp (2 fired and 1 quit) within first 2 weeks of camp . Many more contemplated leaving but needed a summer job . Ask about how many staff from 2016 will be returning...only 4 returned from 2015 season . Staff are over-worked & under-paid . Staff energy was awful at mid way point of six week season . THIS IS A COMPLETELY RECREATIONAL SPORTS CAMP . Any serious athlete looking to get better in their sport should look elsewhere for a camp . Take it from me (a FORMER staff member) , your money would be better spent at ANY OTHER CAMP than this one . The former management was superb , but this new management is horrendous . BEWARE !!! Click to report rating    7/16/16   1     1     1     1     1   If you child is 13+ years then they will not enjoy it. This terrible camp is for 10 year olds trying learn about being friend and all that dumb stuff. As a serious athlete looking to get better I didn't learn anything and instead spent my time watching the little kids trying to kick a ball. RID: 49777
Click to report rating    8/9/15   1     1     1     2     1   Im a 15 year old And i hated camp allstar. I went for a 3 week session and im never going back. The staff was horrible and the food was bad. The camp was very unorganized and was ran horribly. Dont go there. You most likely wont like it. Everyone living in my dorm (Jacobs hall) was trying to go home. 4 girls left in one week. And a few guys left too. Camp Allstar is not what people say it is. It is not a good camp. RID: 49037

Click to report rating    11/18/08   5     4     5     5     4   My son went to All Star as his first camp experience and he loved it. He said the counselors were amazing and incredibly supportive of the kids. He likes to be kept busy and All Star kept him busy with sports he loves and sports he's never tried. RID: 27567
