One of the best summer camps I have ever been to. The staff loves everything about camp and tries very hard to make the campers love it as much as they do.

I went to Camp Lawrence a full decade ago, so a lot may have changed. My experience was not a good one. First, I attended this camp with my best friend when her nutty aunt made her go. At almost 15 years old, we were some of the oldest campers there. We were treated HORRIBLY. The staff tried to force me to eat meat by saying they had "seen me eat it before" Not true. They then called my mother to verify that I was vegetarian. She was not pleased in the least with their distrust. My friend and I then got simultaneous punishments because we were "being loud at night." My friend was emotional because her sibling had recently attempted suicide and she was beside herself with worry. I was consoling her. We explained this to our counselors, they didn't care. They publicly humiliated girls in my cabin who had been unwise enough to vocalize a crush they had on a male camper. My mom offered to pick me up, but I didn't want to leave my friend alone. I would never send anyone I love here.

I'm going for my final year this summer! It is a amazing time and I make tons of friends. Definetly worth the money :) All the staff were funny and tried hard to make sure we had fun.
