Absolutely love this camp, my daughter went for 8 years, and next year will be going to Israel with Harlam. Every year she came back saying it was better then the year before. Even twice a week she Skype with all her camp friends. I strongly recommend this camp for everyone!

Camp harlam is the best camp ever!I made friends that will last forever. Everyone there is great,funny, and tottaly awesome.I love the staff, directors, and all the people. it is the best place you can imagine. There is know way you can hate this place. It is true that at camp harlam friends become family.

camp harlam is awesome<3 i dont care what other people sayy! i love it! its awesome <3 the people are definatly the best part <3 some other camps have fancy water skiing and canteen (not saying i wouldn't like this kind of stuff at harlam) but at camp we make it fun! Its awesommee and i don'tt know what i would do all summerr without it!

i think camp harlam is a bad camp the activaties r good food was yuk u only got to eat for 15 min. they never let u call home and kids r ok but food again was sooo yuk i think u should get to go 4 2 weeks all your years

This upcoming summer of '10 will be my 4th year attending Camp Harlam! I have and never will regret my desicion of choosing it. The moto is where friends become family, when you get there and get to know your bunkmates, you will realize that this is true! I really do wish it was summertime forever! I never wanted to leave! Not once! My life practically revolves around Camp Harlam! there is no place I would rather be! People always say your home is wherever you may be, but I have to realize this is not true, My real home is Camp Harlam! I have made soooo many amazing friends that I know will be there for me when I need them! I love all of the amazing activities camp has to offer! They have made such a big impact on my life and made me feel good when I was feeling bad, made me feel happy when I was feeling mad and made me the person I really am, I cant thank them enough for everything they have done to give my life a real meaning. I really do love harlam. IT ROCKS! although the pizza there made me puke, i've created frienships that will last me a lifetime. harlam lets be myself with hundreds of kids that are jewish just like me! so take my advice GO HERE!!!!

Camp Harlam is a life changing, fun filled place where I can be the real me. My friends understand me, my counselors are there for me and the activities make every moment enjoyable. I have attended Harlam for the past 8 summers of my life, and there is no place I would rather be this upcoming summer than in Kunkletown, PA. If you are a parent and reading this, I can honestly tell you that your child will have an amazing time at Harlam and will return with many amazing memories! CITs 09!!!

Camp Harlam is definitely the best part of my life. Going to camp has totally redefined who I am as a person and as a Jew. The aren't words to describe my thanks to this incredible place. This July will be my 5th summer at Camp Harlam and I know for a fact that every year is better and better. I cannot wait for K'Far Noar! CITS of 2012!

I attended camp for 5 years. For the first couple years, it was amazing. I made great friends, enjoyed the activities, and loved feeling connected to my Jewish background. However, it just got worse. I couldn't STAND 98 percent of people in my unit, although I'm hoping they were an uncommon bunch at Camp Harlam. By the time my last year came around, 14-year-olds were sneaking out at night to do sexual things. Stealing each other's thongs, unnecessary catfights... It was ridiculous. Most of the people love camp because they find other people just like them - people exactly like what I have just described. If that floats your boat, have all the fun in the world. The activities were fun the first few times around, but what sucks is that you do the SAME ACTIVITES EVERY YEAR. It gets REALLY old, and following the schedule gets annoying. Food is pretty good. Services are boring, yet peaceful. Most of the counselors are nice, although there are always bad ones. Overall, go when you're young!

This year, 2008, was my first year @ Camp Harlam, & I absolutely LOVED it. If you went, you'd love it to. We hadve services on Friday's, & Saturday's, but trust me, i'm saying they're fun. & I HATE services ! Camp was the best experience of my life, & i can't wait to go back <333333

Camp Harlam is my life. It really is my home away from home. I talk to my friends almost every day and I classify them as my best. Yes, it may be a little religious but you and your friends make it alot of fun! I really recommend this camp!

omg i love camp harlam! it is my home away from home! everyone is soooo nice, and so far i have had the best two summers of my life. this year i was not put in a bunk with all my friends, and i still made new ones, and i love them! i dont know what i would do without camp harlam. at home, i always show my "friends" pictures of my bestesteestestestetstesttest friends, and they are like wait why are you showing us this and i am like i love these people! camp harlam is the most amazing place ever! i already have started a countdown in my room,, and its october! camp is amazing, and i don't no what i would do without it! I'm the dad of a very happy camper, who just finished his 4th year at Harlam. He loved it. He loved the activities, the songs, the games, the counselors, he even liked the food. Two thumbs up for Harlam from this satisfied dad.

okay, so last year was my first year AND I LOVED IT i got a little homesick in the beginning and all the girls AND boys there weree there for mee telling me it was gonna be okay, i made friends in like a day- not even camp harlam is the one place i actually count down too, this year is gonna be my 2nd year 8 MORE DAYS! i have been counting down since 146 days, and let me tell you, its not the easiest thing, a lot of people make fun of me because i always talk about camp and camp and more camp but they dont no how it is to go away for 4 or 8 weeks meet these people who become close to family and then leave them till next summer but while ur there u have a blast! i rated this because i wanted kids and parents to see that you should choose this camp. parents- your kids are deffinitly in good hands here i loved it, your counsolers are like good parents and for the kids- you make friends in like two seconds who automaticallly got your back no matter what! Awesome camp! I love both times I've been there, and will be going back for a third this summer! K'FAR! Don't believe them when they say there's no Color War. There always is.
FOOD: Great.
COUNSELORS: Really cool. It's awesome to get Israeli counselors, and British. Oddly, most of them (the foreign counselors, obviously not including the Israelis) are Christian... at Jew Camp... never quite got that...
ACTIVITIES: Really good. Except Shiur... no one likes it. And Inst. Swim... but the rest is cool. BUNK NIGHT!
FACILITIES: Pray you get a new bunk. The old ones have 4 people to a shower, and nasty toilets. I had a new bunk the first summer, old second summer, and new this coming summer.
Pretty expensive though. But totally worth it. AND Junior Camp goes to Dorney Park. K'Far and Chavurah go on trips to cities, EX. New York, Boston, Canada, etc. + Galil gets to go on a hike on the Appalachian trail for 2 days. I love d that (AND I slept through a bear walking through the camp sit

I love this camp! It is so fun and i met a ton of friends there! I can't wait to go back! There are tons of activities for everyone from basketball to potery weel, there is practically every activity under the sun. The couslors are awesome. they give each and every camper a lot of attention. the food is awesome. the late night activities are so fun and you will never want to leave! I love camp harlam!

This is the best camp I have ever attended. We have so much fun there and everything we do is made more enjoyable by the staff. The counselors are very good at helping out the campers that need it, and also at making sure the others have a good time. I intend to go back to this camp through the highest year, then to Israel, CIT year, and staff.

I would call it my first home!!!! it is just about the best place on this earth! the friends you make are amazing! all off the activites are such a blast!!! Staff is pretty bad. The facilities are good except for the horrible old cabins. I felt bad for girls camp in that way. Activites, are a little too jewish for my taste. I mean what reform Jewish kid, keeps kosher, and learns hebrew values and jewish values every day. The personal attention is good, but it is hillarious getting in trouble, for doing minor things. Basically going to hebrew school with your friends 7 days a week 24/7!!! WOOO HEBREW SCHOOL

OMG I DONT KNOW WHAT TO SAY!! I have gone to camp for a short 3 years (the past year I was in Arava Boys 1 EASY EASY EASY)!! I have made the best friends in the whole entire world, they are more like brothers and sisters to me than friends!!I live all the way in Virginia and camp is 4/5 hours away from me!! BUT I WOULD GIVE ANYTHING TO KEEP GOING!! I am skipping an alaskan cruise to go to camp for 8 weeks next summer!! I LOVE CAMP HARLAM!! YOU BETTER GET READY FOR JOE AND BETTY H-A-R-L-A-M!! Whoa. This camp is my life. Ever since I went to Camp my first year, I have never been the same since. I was also in Arave this year...best summer of my life. I don't know what i would have done if i couldnt go to this camp. After about a week or less, you feel so close to the people you are living with. You feel like you can talk to them, they will love you no matter what. I dont feel that way with the friends i have from home even though ive known them since before kindergarten. Staff is amazing. They really care about you, and make sure you have the best summer possible. They become just like an older sister or brother. From Song Session, to Color War, to the Dance and Friday nights, camp is the place to be. HERE WE HAVE WRITTEN A PAGE OF OUR LIVES A PAGE WE WILL SHARE FOREVER TOGETHER WEVE PENNED ALL OUR COUNTLESS ADVENTURES... for all those who may know me: i'm the one with the hat, was captain hook, and my love is always with meescha or josh.

camp is amazing!When ur there u feel like u belong. There r fun clinics, arts, color war, the reffreshing pools and of course walking up 2 chaple on the hill and joining the tradition. i highly recomend this camp 2 any1 who wants the summer of there life.

Two of my three kids go to Camp Harlam. My 14-year old girl loves it and can't wait to go back each year. She has made some really good friends that she now sees during the rest of the year. We just picked up my 9-year old son today after his first Camp Harlam experience and he hasn't stopped talking about all the fun he had during his first stay there. The staff has always been very cooperative and helpful. My wife and I like the good values our kids are experiencing in a fun way.

I love camp Harlam with all of my heart! It is the only camp for me! From drama to dancing to song session I love it! Anyone who doesn't is seriously disturbed! I don't know what monetary value is so it got a 5. Facilities are somewhat dirty. Activities are usually good. Medical assistance is not good. My friends and loves make up for it though! I love camp harlam!!!!Shoutout to This years arava girls!!!!

Outstanding camp for kids with values and who are physically fit! Very active, lots of pollen...sports, instructional swim, competitions, and religious content....don't go there if you have serious allergies (oh I said that already..) it is in the PA mountains lots of pollen! Bad for asthma! Be ready to swim, run, do ropes courses, camp and hike, kayak...if this is not your thing,....choose another camp. Not a place for serious social problems. In a bunk with 16 kids if you cannot keep your act together you will hate it. This is a very close knit group, lifelong friend kind of place...don't go there if you are a social outcat hoping to suddenly fit in......it won't happen!

I hate this camp. It is the most boring camp evr. Ther is way tooooo much religion. The counselors are mean and have mental probelms. So many kids say that the activities are great, but they stink. Everyday we have o go to instructional swim (until age 14), go to hebrew school, and learn jewish songs, this camp is not athletic at all. The only fun thing about camp harlam is getting in troble. It is soo easy to get introuble. All you have to do is talk during services, laugh during drama, or sneak out of your bunk at night. Never ever go to camp harlam!! It stinks!!
