Attended June 2018. Food ok, not great, a few scouts and adults sick after one meal. Staff attention to scouts ok, not great. Staff had my older scouts filling out bluecards for them which clearly is inappropriate. Camp had the culture of an "old time" camp, that is to say this is the way we do it and you should like it, rather than how can we make it better for you and your scouts. Spent more time waiting around for next activity or for meals or for events to begin or listening to dining hall speeches which went on for 10 - 20 minutes on mostly irrelevant subjects for our scouts after every meal than I recall at previous camps. Overall not a terrible experience but could have been better.

This camp is excellent, from the moment of arrival the staff are enthusiastic, energetic, helpful and totally focused on the scouts. The waterfront is outstanding and the dining facility with its wraparound porch overlooking the lake is great. The staff also made special accomodations for our climbing group whose climbing times were rained out on several days to complete their merit badge requirements. The independent study Hanidcraft merit badges were well-done. Overall, we would highly recommend this camp.

of all of the camps i have been to, this is probably the best i have seen so far, the facilities are much better than most camps. especially the tents, the dining facility is too small, but is currently going under a massive renovation. the staff is very well trained, and are always ready to help whenever nessicarry.
