Our Troop Stayed in Ogalala camp site in June 2013 and the latrine stench was absolutely horrible. it was everywhere thruout the site. The staff did not pay attention to our complaints. We will never return to this camp

Very nice camp. The staff was phenomenal along with all the fun activities that my boys enjoyed and are still talking about.

A rustic Boy Scout camp that serves the Pikes Peak Council but draws troops from all over the world. The camp is a popular stop for troops on their way to or from Philmont. The buildings may not be what they once were, but renovations are ongoing, and the camp is constantly being kept up-to-date without losing any of its charm. The real gem at Camp "A", however, is the superb staff that give up their summers to help the 2,000+ scouts that come through the camp each summer earn their merit badges. Scout leaders, check out Camp "A"! The prices are a bit steep, but the value is incredible.
