The activities are great, but the culture of the camp is a concern. My son was sick for multiple days and was not allowed to call home. The focus to push through the camp while sick was disappointing. I would not trust the leadership of the camp with my child again.

This is such a good camp. I am a camper at sb2w. I am sorry if anyone got bullied or hurt emotionally, but that is not because of the camp, it's because of the campers! You cannot always control your peers and they will not always like you, but I personally had a great experience. The food is even great! Not like some camps. #Bunk'd. Bunk'd is a Netflix show about a camp with AWFUL food. But not sb2w!

2016 will be my 11 year old son's third year attending SB2W. He goes to the Lake Gloria camp. He absolutely loves it! If you have kids who love to be outdoors and enjoy participating in a variety of sports, this is the camp for you. He found the kids and the counselors to be friendly and nice, and he even said the food was good. The setting is beautiful and there are many different sports and activities available. SB2W is also much less expensive than the other sports camps we looked at. The counselors really do have a Christian attitude and they never let the excitement of competition overshadow good sportsmanship. We drive over 4 hours each way to get to SB2W even though there are many closer camps because my son loves it so much.

The worst experience my daughter ever had. She felt unsafe and experienced cult like religion. Your children are not safe

I'm about to go to SB2W for my 8th year as a camper and will also be serving on crew. This camp is my home. I always think it's strange when I hear SB2W described as a camp because it feels like soooo much more to me. The counselors and leadership love and support the campers. Many keep in contact for many, many years. I have been with an amazing group of girls in my cabin for about seven years now. It's a physical and spiritual challenge, but well worth it. I feel so blessed to be able to spend my summers here and I couldn't imagine growing up with out it.

5 years and running.. One of my favorite camps, I have such a strong connection with the girls in my cabin. Couldn't imagine leaving Lake Gloria. Highlight of my year.

I can't say enough good things about this place. The community and Christ-centered environment have changed the lives of so many campers that I have talked with. The staff are top-notched and truly care about the kids in a way that is more than about just giving them a good time.

I went to Lake Gloria. Bad experience. The top reason why I wanted to go here was to have a good and active time. I wasn't expecting to make best friends, but I wanted to at least be on friendly terms. The girls I camped with did not want to get along with me and made no effort whatsoever since I was a newcomer. I tried so hard to be nice to them but it just was not returned. The cabin counselors were not really caring about my situation. I cried twice there because I was so lonely and the only thing I could do was play with younger kids to cheer me up. My cabin mates said mean things about me even though they were so called "Christians"..pfft yeah.. If you want a clique-ish, pressuring environment for your kid, choose Lake Gloria!

Spirituality meets sportsmanship. God's goodness is ever present at this glorious lakeside camp. Picturesque setting with sun-up to sundown activities focused on fitness, faith and friendship. Excellent, caring college-age counselors and support staff. New features are added every year--from turf soccer field to lengthy zip line. We've attended the SB2W at the Que for three years running and will return for many years more. Excellent value-around $600 per child for 12 days away. Go Galatians!
