Although Lucy Mosses puts on great performances, has great facilities, and over the years there have been many great summers there, of late there has been a constant trend of favoritism in the camp that has really affected the morale of many of the campers. This favoritism not only was directed toward the campers by the staff and interns, but also there were interns that seemed to hold favored positions by the teachers (faculty that run the program). Some of these interns were inappropriate to the campers and made camp life very stressful, unfair, and not particularly fun. Interns were also given large acting roles over the campers in some of the plays, which goes counter to the tradition of the camp. Overall, the administrative staff of the camp did not seem to have a handle on a few of the interns who seemed to take the power of their positions too seriously and to have abused it in the way they treated campers. Some interns were lovely, but a few bad apples can spoil the bunch.

Oh my god this camp is TERRIBLE if you go be prepared to go to hell i was here and there were bad kids and it was like no fun whatsoever be prepared for the worst summer of your life if you're going to be here.

My son has attended this camp for four years. He absolutely loves it. This year we will be commuting in from Westchester so that he can attend. The staff is amazing, from the interns through the directors. From what I can tell a good time is had by all!

This is the best camp in the world. I loved it so much. But don't go if you don't like performing

This is an incredible camp! I have gone for 2 years and my brother has attended for the last 3. The kids are lovely and so friendly. We put on a huge show at the end of the year! The beginning is mostly games, improv and song. Then, we begin learning lines, songs and choreography. Every year there is a theme. Last year's was France, the year before was adventures and the year before that was ancient Roman mythology. Every year is a musical and every child has and equal role in the show. The older kids are more serious actors but the littler kids are just there to have fun. So many kids have had so much fun at this camp. If you come here or send your kids here, you will not regret it. Also there are lots of instructors and counselors. The kids and adults are diverse in race, religion and interests.
