I attended this camp Summer of 2006, so I guess 2 years ago. Personally I didn't enjoy it too much. I got a little homesick and my roommate and I were'nt very similar so the time I spent alone was really lonely to me. BW has very nice facilities and the staff was pretty good but I felt the activities could've been more personal and such if there was more staff to cover the camp. I've attended Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp for the past two summers since BW and I've had a much better experience there.

String camp is a great activity for any string player within the age limit. You will meet new people with a common interest, and although it may seem like a lot of practicing in a day, it really is not bad. The food is okay. Most of the staff is pretty nice and gives you the attention you need, especially in sectionals. There are different orchestras for each player's ability. The campers can either commute every night or stay overnight in the dorms. If you live close-by, there really is no point of staying, as you are just spending a lot more money. Also, if you are a guy, your dorm usually isn't air-conditioned, so bring a fan. I can see why they've been raising the price for this camp, as they've had to bring more staff in, but some things just don't seem worth the money (like the food). Everyone I've asked has had a good time at this camp.
