Busch Gardens offers both day and resident (overnight) camps from kIndergarten-college. You get to choose different animal areas and work alongside Busch Garden's zoological and veterinarian staff. The counselors are awesome because they really connect to the campers. The staff is really friendly, knowledgeable, & helpful. Campers can get hands on experience and exclusive behind the scenes tours that are not offered to guests. The price ranges from $200-$1200 for a week and is worth every penny! The program covers costs for food, snacks, transportation during the program, special activities, overnight stay, and even a couple of tshirts. The program is really accommodating by providing airport pickup and drop off. Any of Busch Gardens and Seawolrd's camps are once in a lifetime experiences that also look really great on college applications and resumes! I have been to several camps and always look forward to retuning. They are definitely the highlight of my summer!

For anyone who is serious about pursuing a career in being a vet or zoo keeper. Waking up at 5:30 was tough, but learning and caring for the animals was definitely worth it! I also loved taking quick breaks on going on the roller coasters. It was a good experience and I definitely learned a lot about taking care of a variety of animals.
