My teen daughter struggled with her weight her entire life. She was ashamed and embarrassed of the way she looked yet didn’t know how to take the initiative to begin losing weight. Not to mention the foods in the house were not foods health conscientious people would eat. Finally, my overweight daughter could take no more and requested to spend the summer at a weight loss camp. I agreed and she returned a completely new person!
Now, not only is she thinner but she knows she is responsible for her weight. She has helped the entire family become more conscientious of eating healthy foods and to support her in her quest to eat healthy foods.
She also made some great friends at camp shining stars and since they are all losing weight they encourage each other to keep losing weight and stay healthy. Weight loss camp gave my daughter the confidence she needed to overcome her struggles with weight loss and today she has a new outlook on life and a smaller pant size!
