8/13/13   5     5     5     5     5   My 2 boys attended MVP for 2 weeks this summer. The coaches were great, teaching my kids so much about the game and showing them what it would take to improve. They are so hooked that we just installed a hoop in our driveway. But more importantly, they made new friends and couldn't stop talking about how much fun they were having. There is clearly a reason why MVP has been so successful for such a long time. RID: 45663

8/8/13   5     5     5     4     5   My 10 year old daughter just completed 2 weeks of MVP camp, she is my fourth child to attend. She loved the camp, the activities and counselors. She made new friends and was enthusiastic each time she returned home. The only item they should work on is the grouping of girls. The age range is very large, making it harder for the younger girls to touch the ball during games. Should have some type of rule to compensate for this during games if grouping can not be changed. BUT other then this point it is a WONDERFUL camp! RID: 45571

8/7/13   5     5     5     5     5   My son loves the MVP Basketball Camp and my older son loved it also, when he attended. It's so convenient, the drop off is earlier than any other camp, they provide lunch and the camp has fun counselors. My son is pooped when he gets home because he receives a true daily work out, while staying hydrated all day. Boys and girls form new friendships with kids from all over. Well known basketball players former and current, visit and spend time with the campers. Awards & certificates are generously handed out to every camper, every week. Can you tell I love this camp for my son? It's the best run camp a working parent could ever want. RID: 45568

Click to report rating    2/28/12   2     2     2     1     3   My daughter was 10 years old at the time of this camp. I had the same complaints as the last reviewer. She hardly got the ball and all of the older girls played. She just stood around and spoke to another child her age. This camp needs to seriously reconfigure the age groups! I will never send her back there. RID: 40416
Click to report rating    3/10/11   3     3     2     2     3   My daughter, who was nine at the time, went here last year. She did not enjoy it. They group the girls from age 9-14 and since she was 9, she did not get to play much. The older girls hogged the ball all of the time which left little time for my daughter to play! The camp groups the boys into age appropriate groups, but not the girls. RID: 35312
