Adapted instruction to the knowledge level of my child. Was able to offer more advanced instruction if child already had knowledge of programming. My son is a beginner/intermediate programmer. He was able to program and publish and iPhone App after two weeks of camp. He loved it and it sparked his enthusiasm to continue programming.

My child has really enjoyed this camp for the second year now. The one thing that would make it better for me is if the cost were less, but the kids get a lot out of it.

The staff were extremely helpful over the phone and Brennen indicated that he really enjoyed the instructors. However, I was told on the phone that this class would be appropriate for him based on his level of experience, and it was not. This is very disappointing.

The kid enjoyed the camp immensely and wants to come back next year. Everybody was friendly and helpful. Our son did not sleep over, however we used the extended day option which worked well. The food was plentiful and he liked it.

Moonshine was a good teacher. Our son felt that the director treated the kids a bit too much like 4-year olds. Otherwise, it was a good week.

My son is attending ID Tech at Cal Berkeley for his third year. After 2 years of creating videogames, this year will be a 2 week overnighter with his cousin who is flying in from Colorado! He is so excited about the college campus experience featuring everything from dorms to the cafeteria, and classroom. I highly recommend this camp for any tween who has interest in technology. Make the switch from being a passive technology user to a technology designer and builder - the skills prove to be invaluable.
