Click to report rating    8/7/10   5     5     5     5     5   I think this camp excels on all areas. I appreciate the safe, nurturing and exciting environment they provided my son. I also appreciate that they challenged him to use his creative side to pul something together. Finally, his computer skills and interest in all things technical has grown dramatically. Good job. We will be back. RID: 33643
Click to report rating    8/3/10   5     3     4     5     3   My 12 yr. old really enjoyed this computer camp. He was very excited about the program he designed by using codes (C++Java programming). He couldn't wait to show his cousins the program that he created and now they want to attend next summer. This particular class not only teaches computer skills, but also math, volcabulary, art, science, problem solving, and social skills. He made several friends and the staff were very attentive and knowledgeable. My son told me that the staff used a kind of teaching skill that made it fun and enjoyable for the kids to comprehend. He said he wish schools would teach this way. The classes are expensive, but a very good investment for my son's future. Yes, he will be going back next year, along with his cousins. RID: 33600

Click to report rating    10/21/09   5     5     5     5     5   I've been an instructor with ID Tech for 2 years now and it has been the best job that I've ever taken. The only way it could be better is if I could teach all year round. After the end of camp I look forward to next year because the experience keeps getting better and better. All of the staff that I have worked with love the job they are doing and do it extremely well. Each of them is very knowledgeable in the fields that they teach and have a real passion for sharing that with others. We love to see the smile on the kids faces when they create something they could only have dreamed about before. The kids are awesome too, they are there to learn their course materials, but thats not all the camp offers. It is a great learning environment, fun and upbeat, many different activities to help the students learn and have fun. This a great camp for the all kids, from the quiet reserved to the outgoing and adventurous and anyone in between. RID: 31409
Click to report rating    10/19/09   5     3     4     4     5   Overall, it was a great experience. Our staff was consistently not only on the ball, but going above and beyond the call of duty. If an instructor had a question about course content that another instructor knew, there was no hesitation to help out. Everyone was also really good about leading activities, and while it's impossible to please everyone with a single game (which is where the Activities Curriculum becomes so helpful in giving easy access to a huge variety of games), you would be hard pressed to find a camper who says they didn't have fun. Overall, the individual attention was impressive, however there was probably 1 week per instructor (particularly in my case) where the class size is just too large, or the number of classes having to be juggled (I took on 3 classes at once one week) makes it hard (but not impossible) to give the right amount of focus to each camper. Other than that, some college campuses are better than others. Haha, no surprise there. RID: 31360
Click to report rating    10/14/09   4     3     5     5     5   I loved working with the Houston team. It was great fun and we were always energizing each other. The only thing that I wish there was more of would be more things to do around that campus. But I do realize that the location the UH is not in the best area. RID: 31325
