Instructors sometimes have to teach two courses at the same time, so there can actually be very little personal attention, despite the advertised student-instructor ratios. Camp is very well organized otherwise, but for the amount it costs, each course should get its own instructor. Activities outside of classroom leave much to be desired--playing video games that may not be age-appropriate for some of the younger campers, going on a walk, hanging out, etc. Quality of experience can vary widely depending on camp's site and instructors--advise checking into this carefully before spending your money.

This camp is fantastic and wonderful. The staff are highly trained, professional, and very outgoing. It is very hard to leave work at the end of the day, as corny as that sounds. Working here was one of the best experiences of my life, especially in my interactions with the kids, parents, and staff. The atmosphere was awesome, and I always felt supported by management. Maybe I'm biased, but I cannot imagine a better iD Tech camp site. UW rocks!

ID tech camps was a very enjoyable experience for me. I learned a lot about technology and the staff were really awesome. I had so much fun! I hope I can come back next year.

I was delighted to hear all the positive comments my son had for the staff, especially his coach. She managed to make him feel good about the challenge he had taken one and the degree of success he had, even though it was a really huge bite to take. He was bubbling over with enthusiasm at the end of each day, and cant wait to come back again. The camp staff also made sure that there were positive interactions with all of the campers, so that everyone felt successful and accepted! Thanks so much!

My son took the programming course and had a really good experience. I read the other person's comment and was surprised because my son wanted less time outside and more time at the computer. I felt that there was enough time outside for this type of camp. His dad is a programmer and was impressed that he could learn to write a Black Jack program in a week. The instructor was very knowledgeable and made a good impact on our son. I would highly recommend this camp especially if your child likes technology. Our son took programming to see if he wants to go into this field and it helped confirm that this is what he wants to do.

Joshua, camp director, was amazing with parent communication and I felt very comfortable leaving my child in his care with the other camp teachers. Thanks for providing a unique camp experience for my child. We will be back!

Do you actually want a real computer programming experience for your child? Well...this is NOT the camp to take. The fancy ads and videos showing the kids having a great time outside and being taught by these "experts" are totally bogus. If you want your kid to sit in front of a computer all day without a "break" away from the computer and and be a zombie...go ahead...They state on their website: "We are a technology camp, but we also take time out for sports, board games and building new friendships. Tech Camp is not just about computers and technology". Give me a break. What time for sports. They barely went outside!!! They let the younger kids play on the computer during their breaks rather than engaging them in some other fun activity. Until we complained, then apparently they took the kids outside. For a $1000 for a week long camp-TOTALLY NOT WORTH IT!!

My son LOVED this camp. He learned to make a video game on his own, the staff was helpful and attentive to him and he came home every day happy and exhausted from a full day of fun!

This is the best computer gaming camp ever. This is fourth year going and I am planning to continue my gaming adventures. The staff is great, the things they know is amazing. Very knowledgeable, you have a question they have a answer. I especially like the family like bonds you create when you go you this camp. As for the software, it is very professional, best computers ever. I CAN NOT WAIT TILL NEXT SUMMER!!!!
