Click to report rating    10/14/11   5     5     5     5     5   Camp Klaus is amazing. The energetic and enthusiastic staff is very personable and puts on a fantastic program. The main focus is program to make sure that scouts learn top knotch skills in the varioius merit badges offered, featuring a new high COPE course. They also do a spectacular evening program for the scouts. The scenery is beautiful with a grand waterfall and a lake for swimming and other aquatic merit badges. Long story short, Camp Klaus is quite the place and I look forward to going back. RID: 37057
Click to report rating    12/28/09   4     3     4     4     5   This is a very good council camp. The staff is always trained well and the fact the camp feeds you in the mess hall every night but Tuesday is a PLUS! RID: 31790
Click to report rating    7/26/09   5     5     5     4     5   this is a beautiful scout camp located in the hills of northeast iowa. a scenic waterfall flowing from the tall limestone bluff feeds into brownfield creek, which feeds the 12 acre lake. which is a great spot for swimming, canoeing, and small sailboats. a new high C.O.P.E. course is in the making. a great climbing and rappelling tower was added a few years ago. rifle, shotgun, and archery ranges also add excitment for scouts.
