Excellent programs for kids/teens. Lots of merit badges to choose from. The staff puts on the best campfire programs. Dining Hall is an old lumber mill site. Camping area are tents, adrondacks and some really nice cabins. Trading Post and bathrooms/showers are modern and each one is private. Programs include Horses,mountain bikes,bmx bikes, shotgun, rifle, archery,slingshot, climbing,C.O.P.E.(one of the best courses I've ever seen),nature, fishing,canoeing,rowing, swimming,metalworking, handicraft, carving, astronomy and so much more. Staff also had a band that entertained during meals. Boys enjoyed it so much, we came back year after year. A great camp. There is also a backpacking trip that older boys can go on while younger ones are at camp. It starts near Mount Lassen in the Lassen National Forest and ends up at the camp. A special patch can be earned for taking the hike. 57 miles of beautiful country. We've done it 2 times and are looking to go back and do it again.Look @ website!
