I have been going to Wanakee with my kids for 4 years now. We all LOVE it! Hats off to finding the staff that you have - what a wonderful group. So energetic, loving, respectful, considerate, welcoming - a great group. I love coming and seeing familiar faces each year. That speaks volumes about Wanakee.

Great Camp. Great Camper/Counselor ratio. Very focused on creating relationships with peers, as well as learning more about yourself. Many of my friends in adulthood stemmed from my summers at Wanakee. Beautiful Natural campus provides inspiration along with hiking, climbing, and swimming. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Wanakee. This camp promotes good values and produces good people.

Wanakee is the most amazing place in the world :) It has been a part of my life sense i was very young and also a part of my moms life. Its a place where you can go and let all the worries from home leave you. its a place where God lives; in the forest, the water front, and the wonderful people. I plan to be a part of wanakee for the rest of my life. for anyone who has not been. PLEASE come and join us! :) everyone is accepted at wanakee. Just like everyone is accepted by God

Wanakee is awsome! Unlike some of the other camps I have been to they actually do everything that they say they will do in the camo description. The staff, food, activities, and the facilities are great. They have a wonderful ropes course that is offered during your stay. Wanankee has also made a new shower house this year (2008) that is close to many of the sites. I highly reccomend this camp to anyone looking for a great time and good memories.

Wanakee is the best camp ever!!! I've been there 3 years now, and things get better every year!The staff are the best,the facilities are awesome,the activities are out of this world,the personal attention...they focus on the crowd,it's a special occasion if they focus on just you,but the monetary value is the best it can be.The site is beautiful,especially when you go hiking up to Lemon Squeeze or Look-out point!I'm telling you,you should go there!!!

I LOVE this camp! You get to do all different activities, like mountain biking, swimming, and arts and crafts. There is also a beach there, where you can swim, or canoe in the large lake. At Wanakee, all the councillors are understanding and helpful. You will come back home with a great experience and a lot of new friends!
