My daughter's been going to ID Tech Camp for 3 years, and she can't wait to go back this summer. If your child enjoys computers, gaming, graphics or programing, I'm betting they'll love ID Tech, too! Mornings are devoted to work on their chosen, week-long project, with instruction and one-on-one support from an amazing staff. The ID Tech staff is comprised of area educators and college students who are finishing undergraduate and graduate studies in computer-related fields. They come to work each day with an abundance of humor, expertise and energy. Each camper has his or her own computer to work on, and they work with state-of-art, industry-standard software. Campers eat lunch in the University cafeteria (This is a big hit with most campers--what kid wouldn't love all of those choices?). Each afternoon combines time for outdoor sports & games with more time for campers to work on projects. On Fridays, campers present their finished projects to other campers, friends and families.

I too was an instructor at this camp-- I had a great time as an instructor, and I think that really followed through for the students as well. I actually was originally a STUDENT at this camp several years back, and I had such a positive experience that I was inspired to come back and teach. This is a great opportunity for your kids to learn some great skills that INTEREST them, while meeting other kids with similar interests.

I'm an instructor for this camp, and I could not be more pleased with it. All the instructors are very knowledgeable and friendly. The campus is fantastic, with sleeping quarters and computer lab on the same floor of the same building, and a dining hall very close by. Oh yeah, the ultimate frisbee field is pretty spectacular, too.

My 11-year old has never enjoyed a camp as much as this one. The programming they do seems quite hard to a boomer like me, but the fun, supportive and very cool staff makes it fun for the kids. The day camp is long--9 to 5--but my son couldn't wait to get there in the morning and didn't want to leave in the evening. Great choice especially for those kids that don't fit well into the traditional day camp mold but like video games, movie making, etc.--the camp makes it fun and cool.
