I loved this camp. There is a lot great activities. Just know you need to be in pretty good shape to go to this camp. you can do day camp or over night but over night camp is more fun. over night is really fun when you get a great cabin and great councilors. I always get a great cabin and great councilors except for once i got a rude councilor but she was fun. Overall everyone is really nice there.

Both of my girls ages 6 and 8 have attended this camp, and it was wonderful. The ratio of counselors to campers was wonderful. The ratio for my 6 year olds cabin was 1:3, and my 8 year olds cabin 1:5. There are plenty of activities, and they were never bored. I would definitely recommend this camp, and I am already planning on sending my kids back next summer. A friend of mine sent her child to a very expensive camp last summer, and after talking with her little girl, she didn't get to do half the stuff that my kids are getting to do at a quarter of the price. This camp is money well spent in my opinion.

My daughter attened Hanes for five summers and loved it! I do agree the staff was very caring and nice, also, she wrote in the letters home there a lot of options for food and activetes to do. She also mentioned a lot about the campfires, and how fun and welcoming they were. Now my daughter has a calender in her room, and shes counting down the days until she returns to here favorite camp!

Hate it!!! Hanes is FULL of snobby girls and BOR-ING activetes! okay, so i'll admit the food was really good but the other stuff... ewww! on a scale of 1-10 this camp is a 3, so if you want a terrible summer go to Hanes if you don't, go to Luca. I LOVE LUCA!!
