I LOVE Sanborn! I have been attending Sanborn for soon to be 6 years. I have truly grown from the experiences I have participated in. Whether I am climbing one of Colorado's 14,000 foot peaks at 1am to see the sunrise at 7am or riding my favorite camp horse, Baldie, on one of the 6,000 acres Sanborn owns or on pike national forest surrounding Sanborn, I am always accepting nature. I have a medical condition that causes me to need medication on a daily basis, but is that a problem at Sanborn? NO!! To live in a group of 5 guys in a really cool living space is one adventure. The "Tents" the boys live in at Sanborn are truly amazing! Hardwood floors, new decks, electricity, comfy beds, are all qualities of the tents on the boys' side of Sanborn. The staff at Sanborn is WAY more that outstanding. I will always keep Sanborn close to my heart. Living in the rocky mountains for 4 weeks is what I call my second home! I have never met someone that has disliked Sanborn!

Sanborn gave me the literal and metaphorical space to discover who I am. It is the biggest private camp, by acreage, in the United States covering 6,000 beautiful acres adjacent to Pikes Peak and the Florissant Fossil Beds. Wonderful emphasis on outdoors and nature, adventure, community, friendship. Campers from all over the world, life long friendships and something like 70 camp marriages--even though the boys and girls camps are separate! Privately owned by Sanborn Family for most of 60 year history; now a Non-Profit. Horses, hiking, crafts, tennis, swimming--you name it, they've got it.
