The camp has a bullying problem. There way of dealing with it is to ignore it. In addition, the camp counselor was in a wheelchair and had to supervise 12 six-year old boys without help. The kids were not able to do some of the activities because they didn't provide extra help for this staff member. A horrible experience for my son.

Do not send your kids to this camp. They create an atmosphere where bully's prosper and supervision is at a minimum. It was dressup day and my son dressed up like a pirate only to be called a "homophobic slur" all day. His lunch was stolen and used to start a food fight. All in one day. ONE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Never again.

My daughter has attended Camp Funtime the past 2 summers. This will be her third summer and she asks me everyday when is it time to go back to camp. She started when she was 3 and every year we have had exceptional counselors, and I have never felt uneasy about leaving her. All the specialists and administrative staff are very helpful and always seem to have a smile on their face. All in all this is a great traditional camp!

This camp was a horrible experience for our son. He was bullied (I was informed kindergarteners can't be bullies by the staff...) and the activities were often in the hot sun (the "camp" has little shade despite being in Encino). We were charged the full summer rate despite only attending for a few weeks due to my son's experience (he is in school and has never ever had problems with other kids...). The same child bullied a friend's children and was never removed from the program. On a much less serious, but annoying note, pick up and drop off are done in an incredibly haphazard manner taking up to 30 minutes. I would NEVER recommend this camp to anyone. Ever.
