I love this camp! My mom went when it opened and her siblings started coming to. Now all of my cousins go and we all love it. The older ones are counselors now to. I started going when I was seven and now this is my 5 year. On your 5 year you get a strong river pendent. There are a lot of activities to do at strong river. On a daily basis you wake up, eat breakfast, clean your cabin, and start activities. Then you have lunch, and go to rest period. Then you start a certain afternoon activity. Some of these are tubing, cooking out, and skit night. We have dinner at these activities. Something really fun is strong river dance night. Girls might want to bring jeans and a blouse for this. They play fun music and we all have a blast! On Friday night we have a banquet. We wear white shirts and white shorts for that. Girls be sure to wear a nice top for this. Overall it is a amazing camp and you're never bored. I highly recommend this camp for all kids! It's awesome!!!!

I started going to Strong River when I was ten years old, and there is a reason I keep going back. I'm a counselor now and I can't get enough. Strong River is possibly the best thing that ever happened to me.

SR is honestly the best summer camp I have ever attended. Your not just a camper when your there, your part of the family. No one ever disagrees or fights, no cliques or social ratings, you are who you are and your wanted there. You belong. There's canoeing, horses, high ropes, zip line, tubing, arts and crafts, farm day, skit night, rapids, and everything is easily placed and not confusing. The counselors are there for the kids and the rest of the staff is amazing. The small little camp in Pinola stole my heart and I can't wait to go back. Best place in the world.

Great basic camp!! No schedules or clocks to follow. Food is outstanding and all homemade. Alot of the veggies are grown on sight. Wonderful camp experience!!
