The staff is terrible and unresponsive. All they want to do is call home and send your child home and keep your money. They will look for any reason to call home for stupid stuff and send your kid home. The division leader is useless. They hardly provide and pictures. They cut corners as much as possible. DO NOT GO! SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Camp is the most amazing experience you can possibly have. I've been going to Timber Lake for 8 years now, and plan on going back forever. Camp has become my home and if I could, I would be there all year round. Every single day of my life I think about camp and all that it's done for me. The friendships made will last a lifetime and these girls aren't just my friends, they're my sisters. Everyone at camp is so friendly and accepting, the food is great, and the activities are amazing. Camp has something for everyone and helps you get better at all activities and makes you a better person in the end. While the rest of the world wants you to grow up, Timber Lake allows you to be a kid. When we were little freshman we couldn't wait to be teens, but now that were teens we only wish we could be freshman and do it all over again. Each person makes eachother who they are and contributes to making eachothers summer's amazing. Camp is legitimately the best place on earth!!! TEENS2011 i love u<3

i worked a summer here and it was the hardest work i've ever done. i loved the kids, but the upper management treated the counselors horribly. it's painful to work so hard with no help or recognition. . . its no wonder most of the kids who love it are spoiled and self absorbed. tlc teaches that if you have money or your parents have money you are allowed to do whatever you please. i feel sad for the kids who grow up in such a caustic environment.

I just finished my 8th summer as a camper. I am not the emotional type, but at the end of every summer i cry like a baby. If i could, i would live at camp year-round. I am going to be hired by the owner next year and i am going to be a junior counselor and i cannot wait. I think about all my old counselors and how i looked up to them and i see myself turning into a mixture of all of them. I believe that camp is another world and it has given me an experience that has turned me into a better person. It is so hard for me to put my feelings for this camp into words. I have so many memories that i will never forget. My first kiss, my first girlfriend, my first love. ALSO, i have turned into a WAY better athlete and i am in such good shape because camp has introduced me to the sports that i have grown to love. I highly recommend this camp to any person. But i hav to admit, it is very difficult to attend the camp as a teenager for the first time and fit in, by teenager i mean about 16yr old.

omg tlc =) its a great camp 9,000 you cant bbeat that thats an excellent price. its really good you have fun you get to interacte with other people and you eat excellent food!!!

Most staff members are definitely nice people, but these irresponsible behaviors are encouraged by the camp's owner.

I went to this camp for years and LOVED it! Until i saw what real camp was. Everything was very structured and we were treated like children. I understand we ARE kids but not three. We had seperate haves of camp for boys and girls like most camps, but at this one there are guards to keep you away from each other. Although I love this camp and the kids that go there, summer is a time for freedom from school and opression. a time for slef-expression and TLC didnt allow for that. If you need freedom, choices, or individuality, DO NOT attend TLC. But if you LIKE structure and rules than TLC is a good choice. And i must admit that whilst you're there you tend to become a little jappy. I myself have even done so.

Timber Lake, When even just think of the word I get chills. I am coming back to camp this summer to be a Junior and his will be my 5th summer. I love my counslers and Bunk 13 2007 is the best bunk in the world...for all you bi***es who say this camp is jappy, its not. The girls there are loving and would do anything to be there the whole year round. And whoever wrote that we have flatscreens, thats bull. I live for camp. Of course anyone who goes to timber lake or any other camp would stick up for it, but you dont have to pretend that not one thing is bad. At timber lake, your in a great atmosphere, where you know that you will go back to year after year. Where you have friends that are there till the and and after that. I would die if my parents told me that i couldnt go back for some reason. This is what i look forward to every year. Where the boys are your brothers an the girls are your sisters. and u no you love each other to death and would never do anything to hurt them.<333 aaf

i love this camp sooo much!! i have been going many years , and i always have a blast. i have the most amazing friends here and i know these friendships will last forever and ever!!! i cant wait to get back to camp each year !!! it is my second home and i dont know wat i would do if i didnt go to camp here. you should definatly come to this camp!!!!

After spending 3 summers at a smaller camp in Pennsylvania, my two boys switched to Timber Lake. They had their meet people and found everyone friendly. The facilities are top notch and the kids said the food was really good. They said there was "no comparision" to their old camp and begged us to sign them up again for next summer!

jap jap jap jap jap jap! there are AC's for crying out loud! in camp!! flat screen TVs! you might as well go to a fancey expensive hotel with ur friends! even people that go here know its jappy! the girls are terrible and spoiled. they only like you if your wearing juicy couture outfits and all these stupid brands. the atmosphere of this camp is terrible and it is very hard to fit in if you are older and if it is the first time attending TLC. there are cliques and most likely you will not break those cliques and become one of them! if you look, many of the comments are negative! all about being spoiled and all that....really, really think hard if you think you are making the right decision about TLC!

This is the best camp! It is also the most beautiful - my kids love it here - met the most amzing friends - anyone who says anything bad about this camp is just jealous that it is so much nicer than the other camps! Wouldn't go anywhere else

This is the best camp in the entire world! Growing up at TLC was a life changing experience that has made me want to work with kids. It also made me the person I am today. TLC holds a big place in my heart!

Timber lake's amazing! I have been going to this camp since I was 8 years old and am planning on returning as counselor this coming summer after 9 years as a camper. The camp has great facilities, exciting activities, counselors that truly care about their campers, and anything a camper could want in camp. Timber Lake is my favorite place and the best camp out there!

amazing camp and and i made such good and nice camp friends, staff really cares about u and i heard it was really jappy when i toured it but then i went and it wasnt. It is really not and it is sooooooo much fun, great food, great kids, and of course amazing camp cant wait to go for another yesr

Timber Lake Camp is the best place on earth. You would be lucky to have such an experience. I cant believe some of the negative comments I have read. They have to be either be from people who never went there or have some kind of social disorder.

At an intercamp tournament, these were the worst behaved children I've ever seen in my life. The coach had no control over these foul mouthed little 10 yr. olds. When told they were being poor sports, even their apology wasn't heartfelt. The camp had to be called in shame to discuss their behavior

THere arent enough words to describe how amazing this camp is. I started there when I was 10 and kept going until i was 24 years old. I am now 25 and everyday I am not there is upsetting. This place has had the biggest impact on my life. It is where I grew up and where I made the best of friends. All of my amazing counselors through the years helped me to become the person I am today. Everytime I go back there I still get the chills. I consider this place my home and i feel more safe there then anywhere. Without Timber Lake who knows where I would be, but I know I am a better person for having gone there all my life. The place and the people have touched my heart forever and nothing can break the amazing bond I will always have with TLC.

my son had an amazing summer last yr. and my other son will have the same this yr. the setting is beautiful and the staff is wonderful so are the owners! facilities are impressive. what other camps have indoor pools!

TIMBERLAKE is honestly the best place in the world. For the most part activities are fun when we actually decide to participate. The staff is AMAZING there and everyones so nice. To the person who said all the staff gets treaten badly, I guess you werent liked very much. because ive had the same couple of counsolars for years(like 5) now and they come back each year to be with us. Everyone is so extremly close and not to mention extremly jappy and clicky, but if you fit in with that theres no worrys. I wouldnt ever call our camp discusting because your not gonna get any nicer with a summer camp because its more like a resort then a camp. Lets see do ppl like Justin Timberlake, Tobe Maguire, Clay, Tara Banks, Carson Daily, Paris Hilton or Furgie come to viset any other camps every year?? I THINK NOT. because TIMBERLAKECAMPS the best there is. LOVEEE YOUUU timber lake and everyone there<333

I worked at this camp in college. It was disgusting how poorly they treated their staff! Makes you wonder how the campers can be happy, when the counselors are so miserable.
