Absolutely outstanding day camp. Your children will be begging you to return each year. My girls have been attending for years and have grown so much socially. They love the activities, the staff and the food, which is delicious and served daily in an air conditioned dining room. It's prepared by a chef trained by Wolfgang puck. You can not go wrong with Frogbridge. Your children will be taken care of while there and you'll be thrilled with your decision.

We sent our five year old son here and are very pleased. The camp has swimming every day and my son made great progress. He was also exposed to a variety of sports and activities. This camp is top notch.

I sent my two kids there last summer (1st grade and 3rd grade) and they absolutely loved it! They made so many friends there and the staff is so great. They are so excited to go back this summer!

Beautiful and spacious but the truth is it ends there. The activities are great if your kids can actually get to them. Kids often have to wait for a long time, waiting for their turn. Food is mediocre at best and their "after care" is an unorganized mess. And unless your kid was already an excellent swimmer, do not expect to come out treading water. I actually do agree with one of the reviewers that all they care about is money. As if $5g for 8 weeks is not enough, expect to get a letter pressuring you for "suggested" tip for their gazillion staff members. Lastly do not call their number to inquire about your child unless you feel like wasting your time talking to rude staff who talks over you and simple don't care. Save your money and check out somewhere else. Don't get lured by all the "possibilities," because the chances are your kid will not be doing them.

Outstanding camp. The owners are wonderful and very much care about the camp, the campers, and the staff. They put the camp first before themselves and I recommend sending your children here. Your kids will love it and you won't regret it.

Sent my children to several other camps before registering them at Frogbridge. What a huge difference. The facility is second to none. The staff is extraordinary and the owner and director treated by kids like there own. My kids could not wait to get on the bus to go to camp. What a relief for any parent.

This camp is the best of the best! It was a no brainer to send my son here and of course he is having the time of his life! Only downfall is the camp price and expected tips are very pricy and him being under 6 years old, he can't do all of the activities and we still have to pay the same rate as the older campers. i worked at black bear lake across the street and there's no comparison! overall, we plan to be part of the frogbridge family for years to come! :)

For people who hate it shut up. Maybe this camp wasn't for you and you liked something else. I never liked this camp but still give it an okay rating. Why? Because even though it was amazing at what they did, I found a program that suits me even better. Not every camp program can be perfect.

As a parent of a child who has gone to this camp for the past four years, I have to say that I am absolutely pleased. My child has tried a few different camps in the area, and nothing quite compares. The facility offers a great deal more than any other place. In fact I have actually been to visit my child quite a few times because like any other parent, I would like to make sure my child is enjoying camp. Each time I came back the the children were always having a blast and the groups seemed so organized(this is what bothered me with other camps). Like many camps they have tennis, baseball, basketball and every outdoor activity you can think of but what’s amazing are the indoor activities. They have all different things from arts and crafts to cooking(my sons favorite) in air conditioned buildings which is a nice break from the sports. This camp is great. I highly recommend it! The next ten days cant come fast enough for my son!

My son went here for 2 years. He enjoyed his first time but didn't want to get on the bus during his second year. There was an undocumented injury that prevented us from returning and recommending this camp. They appear to be very concerned about their reputation and not enough on delivery of service and quality. Not a bumper sticker fan.

My daughter has gone to this camp for six years and wouln't consider going anywhere else. We tried two camps before we went to Frogbridge and neither had the facities or activities that they do. All the activities are in air conditoned rooms and the kids come back year after year because it's great!

One would think a camp so beautiful and spacious would have wonderful directors, great staff, and great amenities, but truth of the matter is, this camp is run just plain awful. Even one of their division leaders this past summer said, "this camp is going downhill." It shows. Never have I seen a camp force their campers to eat outside among hundreds of swarming bees when they have a huge brand new dining hall available to them. Every Monday, all campers and staff were forced to "dine" with the bees. What's even worse is that children with special needs get completely ignored. All this camp cares about is the money. Nothing else. And if you're staff there? Forget about it. The upper staff don't give you time of day unless you've been going for years. Let's not get started on how J.R. is as a director. This guy is the most arrogant, conceited man I've ever encountered. It's time for him to get off his golf car that he's glued to and say hello to the campers.

I have read the reviews and pieces of each are true so I am going to try and represent both sides. The indoor facilities ARE air conditioned, though the indoor facilities do need to be updated. The activities are set in stone which has its pros and cons.Pros are the campers get a great amount of personal attention and a relationship with their fellow campers and their counselors. The cons are the children do not get to pick so they do get stuck doing things they do not like. The staff is extremely underpaid so tips are expected to make up for it.The food is nothing special and you have to jump through hoops if you want to pack your child a lunch. The dining hall is a catering hall so it's beautiful. The outdoor activities are wonderful. They only get ice cream and frogaritas once a week which is a bit of a downer for the kids. All in all it's a great camp, but certainly not perfect.

I cant believe what I am reading. Some of these comments must be written by people that never went there. The entire campus is air conditioned-everywhere. Hot days and rainy days the kids are inside in the a/c doing activities(My daughter prefers rainy days at camp now because of this) The staff are mature adults, not high school kids, (teachers run every group through the 3rd grade-not counselors)and the food is outstanding. We went to a wedding in the same room they eat lunch in - overlooking the lake! My daughter just finished her 7th summer and our son finished his 3rd and they couldnt be happier. The owner and his son are amazing. You can easily see why so many people call this place home. It really is a family atmosphere there. Trust me when I tell you we checked every site...most importantly the ACA website itself, to find the best camp for our kids in Monmouth and Mercer counties. The facility is fabulous, but the staff are incredible. My only negative-it only lasts 8 weeks!

the camp owners and division leaders treat the counselors terribly. contrary to advertising, the facilities are not air conditioned and the activities are nothing spectacular. some activities include boating (many of the boats are broken) and making string bracelets. not many sports. very expensive for no apparent reason. the teen travel program isn't special either, other camps have much better programs for the same price, or cheaper. the only positive thing i have to say about frogbridge is the food, but i've heard that that too has been disappointing in recent years.

First of all very overpriced, Second Staff is way underpaid . On top of inflated price you are asked to tip the staff for the lack of pay received from owners. The rooms are not air conditioned.Kids are sold on fact there is an ice cream store. But kids go once a week.Same with game rm it is in ice cream parlor so go figure. The higher staff treats lower staff horrible, which was made apparent from my children. The amount of bites kids come home with are ridiculous I guess from the lake and lack of pest control. In closing just not what it is cracked up to be.

I went when I was younger, and I have to say I was dissapointed. All of your activities are chosen for you, and most buildings did NOT have air conditioning. Last I checked the rooms that the groups met in were cement buildings with carpets and benches in each room. They did not have much to offer and the color wars were too competitive.

This camp is very nice for the campers as a result of it's numerous and fun activities(although it is extremely expensive and I think that Black Bear Lake Day Camp (also expensive), which is close by, has a bit more). The staff, however, is not always nice and the upper staff are absolutely HORRIBLE to their employees.

THE CAMP IS SOOOOO-O MUCH FUN! LOT'S OF ACTIVITIES. SWIMMING POOLS ARE AWESOME... CUTE LIFEGUARDS. THEY HAVE SPECIAL ACTIVITIES THAT ROCK LIKE THE CAMPLIFIED SUMMER TOUR AND CAMP CARNIVAL. THERE IS A TALENT SHOW AT THE END OF THE SUMMER WHICH IS SO MUCH FUN. I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS CAMP. IT'S NOT A CAMP IT'S A COUNTRYCLUB FOR KIDS. CAMP DIRECTOR JR IS TOTALLY COOL AND WITH IT! THIS CAMP IS GREAT BUT LIKE ANYWHERE SOME KIDS ARE JUST NOT NICE SOMETIMES. I GO BACK EVERY SUMMER.
