This camp is truly one of a kind. The zoo may be small but the emphasis that the camp puts on education and enrichment makes everything worth it. I got to learn a ton through classes as well as hands on experience. All that and we didn't miss out on regular camp stuff like making friends and campfires :)

awesome camp, great campers, fantastic staff, once-in-a-lifetime experiences! sometimes, the water runs out, but the outages remind us that access to potable water is a privilege we often take for granted

it is different from any other camp, they give you tons of freedom, and the counselors are extremely awesome. there are only about 40 kids per week so it's not crowded. you spend a lot of time learning about and handling the animals, so if you love animals, I highly reccomend this camp!

I can honestly say that this camp changed my life. It focuses on animals, the relationship of people, and on the environment. I love everything about this camp, and can speak truthfully when I say that it's a breath-taking and amazing adventure, that you'll never forget. I used to be very shy and reserved, and althought I still carry those attributes, I have never felt so alive and free! This camp allows you to experience hands-on interaction with animals that you would never encounter anywhere else. The staff is amazing, so friendly and open-minded, and they focus on every person, to make sure no one is left alone. The activities are entertaining and fun, with lots of them to satisfy anyone. I personally love the rock-climbing and caving, although the repelling last year was also very exciting, as it was my first time :D So to conclude this very long comment ;) I will just say that Safari Zoo Camp has been a home away from home that I anticipate every year.

I love going to Safari Zoo Camp. I try to come every year. I enjoy working with the animals because it is a unique experience that you cannot get any where else. I they provide many activities and you can choose which ones you feel like doing every day. The food is usually pretty good but they only give you two options for the main course, the normal and the vegetarian (but they are always practically the same). In my opinion Safari Zoo Camp is the best camp and I suggest it to all animal lovers!
