i came to the camp for the first time this past year. it was really fun and exciting especially to be with my friends. the rooms and food were good - theyre rooms had some spiders but not so many considering its a sleepaway camp--they also had carpets :). the food was good - i ate salad alot because they had a salad bar. overall i feel like it was a good camp

The staff is treated poorly , the adult staff a bit better but the teen staff was not given proper treatment at all!! The jobs were given to girls who were not qualified for their jobs. Older girl staff left the camp mid summer leaving the older staff short handed which made it harder. They were given too few days off, and lied to about their jobs. They never got positive feed back even when they were doing their jobs really well. The food is not healthy at all. There is so much sugar being fed to the staff and kids that many felt sick . The kids had a good time because they love junk food , but I think they would come home with more weight on them, and this may be bad for some kids. Tons of candy and doughnuts were served and many other fattening unhealthy foods were in every meal.

I was the first person to go to this from LA. I did not know anyone but ended up making a lot of friends!but i might not go back because I really want my bff to join me

i dont know what anyone means by being bad to staff... everyone is so nice! this was and will be my favorite camp ever, and i plan to go ehre until it is time to work their, which i plan to do! they are not mean i am sure its just a rumor!

This camp may be great for the kids, but they are disgusting to the teenage staff. I would definitely not send my children here as that allows this camp to remain open which gives them more opportunities to torture their staff. The older staff members here do not only overwork the staff, but they treat them like garbage. It's no wonder that less and less teenage girls are returning as staff in this camp. I heard many horror stories about the way this camp treated their young (15-18 year olds!!) counselors. They yell at counselors (even the good ones) with filthy language...Not a good environment for young children. Keep away.

omg! best camp ever! the staff is amazing, the activities are to die for! i had not one bad activity the whole time! the specialty things and night activity, color war, shabbat, and trips are so great! i love camp shoshanim sooooooooo much!
