This is my 3rd year going and i love it! Everything is perfect! But Coral, PLEASE COME BACK I MISS YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH!!! :( It's fun and there's lots of suprises! I recomend bringing friends, I've gotten through tough times for my 2 years and it's great to have some one to cry with! Just don't be suprised if any of your friends don't go, there probaly like "OMG! No TV or electronics! NO!" Trust me i'm a living gamer and this is funner and any game i've played! Just so any of you with anyoing brothers, they can't go so you're free!!! There's nothing to hate really! Just be prepared for some mean girls! i keep seeing bad reviews so i knew i had to write a good one. ive been going since 4th grade (im going into 10th now) and my sister has been going since 1st grade (shes going into 3rd). i think its pretty easy to say that the camp great for all ages. most of the bad reviews are from girls who dont like bugs. i dont know what they were expecting since the camp is literally in the woods so of course there are going to be bugs. im heading to camp once again in two days and im so excited. if youre old enough i definitely recommend taking sailing because it is SOOOOOO much fun. the staff are great and ive made so many friends over the past few years. im normally a very shy person but CBB makes me feel at home. i DEFINITELY recommend coming here. my one disclaimer would be that coming here for an extended period of time gets pretty tiring and the bugs might be a bit too spooky for some of the more squeamish girls.

This camp is great I love it me and my troop always go there every summer and winter and have an absolutely great time. I know people said that they make you clean but that was years ago. They upgraded people! The only thing they make you do is clean up after yourself which is no problem if you don't make a mess. They said the food taste bad but it's delicious they have a kitchen and you can see them making right in front of you! If you stay in the two day one night session. Then you bring your own lunch like a sandwich then they give spaghetti for dinner and bagels for breakfast the next morning. Unlike other people they let you come and go anytime.Like I went to Tjmaxx on the first day I came. Also you can ask my troop they think that it's really fun.I totally recommended to bring your daughter here. Also just if you are wondering dads are allowed to go they just choose not to go at alli know my dad doesn't go. BEST.CAMP.EVER. the staff is pretty good

CBB is amazing. It is my second home and family. I've been going there for years now and couldn't imagine my life without it. It really is a special place where the girls get to make new friends, learn and grow in a safe environment with well educated, friendly and cultured staff. I have met so many wonderful people through this camp and it has opened up my world to so many opportunities. I will be forever grateful. This camp was the first place where I didn't feel shy. For once, I was the outgoing kid. It's given me more confidence than I could have ever imagined.

It was a very fun camp. The staff are really nice. The personal attention is not really that good. The activities are really fun and you get to make really nice friends. The facility is okay but don't go to the bathroom outside near the nurse and the dining hall because its really dirty. The bathroom in the troop house is clean. It's worth the money but I won't think girls that like clean places would come here cause you also need to clean the bathrooms when u sleep there for 2 weeks

WORST CAMP EVER!!! Don't even waste your time here. This one counselor would make me go swimming when I was like doubled over in pain. Most of the counselors weren't even from the United States of America and were not all that smart. I was having an asthma attack and they made me wait to use my inhaler! The nurse's son would use all of the facilities, what ever happened to ALL GIRLS! I refuse to return and I will always discourage other people from going.

BAAAAD CAMP. the counselors aren't too good, and just no one's into anything. obviously it is a summer camp you are not looking for five star accomodations however the tents are legitimately a large piece of wood with a tent propped up. NOOOOO DON'T GO HERE. if you want to stay on long island i would recommend 4H in riverhead, it's lots better. THIS CAMP IS DREADFUL

This camp is not your typical sleep away camp. It is Girl Scout run so many of the Girl Scout philosophies are incorporated into daily actives. Compared to most camps it is extremely reasonably priced, with a discount for being a girl scout. The grounds for this camp are beautiful along with the bay. There aren’t too many campers so each girl is known pretty well by staff. There is a huge returner rate by campers and staff, which give Blue Bay a family like atmosphere. I like this camp a lot because I know that the girls are being taught important life lessons like leadership and responsibility while having an amazing time. The programs have gone through a huge change for the better in the past 5 years. Yes, campers are responsible for keeping their own area (tent or house) clean. The extent of the bathroom cleaning is sweeping or wiping down counters, nothing too extreme. I am proud to have Blue Bay as a part of my history. The people I have met will be lifelong friends.

WORST CAMP EVER. This camp honestly sucks, dont waste your time or money. They left me alone in the woods at night when it was dark out with a girl who was having a seizure. I went home the next day bc i snuck a call with someones cell phone. i cried no stop for days, the food is horrible, and the counzelors dont pay attention to you .worst experience of my life BY FAR. NEVER GO TO CAMP BLUE BAY UNLESS YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT ITS LIKE TO BE IN HELL.

i went two years ago for one week and didn't like it much when i was there but looking back it was so much fun. i am not a spider person but if you just shut up and deal and keep the tent flaps UP then you are fine. the activities are boring but when your with your friends there better. the staff was AMAZING. they don't make you do anything. i did not want to swim and they did not make me. i also was picked on by another girl and they took care of it. i am going back this summer for 4 weeks because i loved it so much.

I LOVE CAMP BLUE BAY!! this summer is going to be my 9th year in a row coming. (anyone else going session 3-4 night owls??) and ya about the whole cleaning the bathrooms and stuff, the counselors only make you do that if youre bad (ive never done it [: yes there is seaweed and jellyfish, but you have so much fun with your friends you kinda dont care!! the tents are 10x better if you want a real experience. WARNING!! if you go to the creek to boat, DO NOT WALK IN THE DEEPER END!!! your shoes will literally be sucked off your feet by some gunk at the bottom. and it smells like rotten eggs when you pull up your foot. always look for cool shells at the beach. ive found some cool snail shells that ive never seen before. btw theres always gunna be an annoying girl that cries and wants to go home, but just ignore that. btw when you go to all camp, BRING A FULL WATER BOTTLE AND GOOD SNEAKERS!! youll literally be walking from one side of the camp to the other. its so fun tho [: HAVE FUNN!!

I loooovvvve camp blue bay!! Packing to go soon!! I hear there is a new ropes course at camp this summer and I can't wait to check it out. So many of my counselors are coming back this summer, I saw some of them at the reunion!! I'm even bringing a friend this summer! Camp Blue Bay Rulzzzz!!!

i went to this camp for like 5 years. okay if you are a rich kid who isnt very outdorrsy go in the troop house...but if you are outdoorsy stay in the tents! personally, i think the tents are ten times better because the girls in the troop houses are a bunch of <u know whats!> also, expect disgusting bathrooms and a nasty bay. really, the best part of it are the friends you make. if you dont make friends your stay will probably stink. did they really re-do the bathrooms?!

i dont get why people hate this camp. this camp is soo cool. the staff members are amazing and the memories that you have after you are done will last a lifetime. the food is good and yes bugs are evident, but the bugs are part of the expierence. since this camp is sort of in the wilderness you sleep in tents or cabins but if you leave the cabin doors open yes your going to get bugs but if you keep them closed you wont. you are bound to get one or two bug bites but its totally worth it. camp blue bay is one of the best camps i have ever been to. the staff is so nice and its very clean. this camp helps girls become more resposible. we have chores that you need to do and everyone does it. it sounds like a lot of work but there is a lot of fun there too. we go swimming every single day and you can choose between sailing, wind surfing, rowing or canoeing. you also do arts and crafts and learn about the nature around you. believe me your children would love this camp. for all of u that had a bad time, i'm sorry. camp is the most amazing place!!! i was a cit this summer and its AMAZING and I HAD A BLAST! we made sooo many grat memories. i hope that we all can be on staff next yr. sure u clean and hop tables but is that gonna stop u from having fun. if ur parents and want 2 send ur girl here, please do! she will have a great time. its a wonderful place to learn new skills, have fun, make new friends and memories that will last a lifetime. its like my 2nd home and i don't know what i would do without it. i hated this camp i went with 3 other friends 2 of them enjoyed it and me and the other girl hated it we cried allllll the TIMEEE we just wanted to be home and leave if theree is thunder and lightening theres a good chance of dying cause wen we were there it was thundering and lightening and it stricked the dining hall and knocked over a bunch of trees. we only made 2 friends and the councelors were mean all except 3. youu have to pray and clean and hop tables also we had a bird in ouur tent. ohh and the campers before us told us on the last day that our tent was haunted and i believed them because i thought i saw a ghost one night there. dont stay in kicoomba!!! there are bugs like crazy and when i got off the bus i was soooooooo happy to be home and with my family i will never go back to this camp or any other camp it ruined my camp expierences.

Ew this camp is awful! I loved the staff, but it was filthy and they made me clean and plunge toilets which they called "fun". The bay is gross and has many jelly fish and all gross seaweed and if you don't wanna go into the bay, they force you! The beds do make so much noise and once I couldn't go to bed b/c of it and they told me that they would call my house if I didn't go to bed. The food is all packaged, and is shipped in trucks. It's disgusting, not to mention all the bugs in the dining hall. There are bugs in all of the camp, the troop houses too! Don't get me started with those "tents"! This camp is terrible, do not send your daughter here!

They made me clean the bathrooms but i got myself out of it. the troop houses are filled with bugs, in both the rooms and bathrooms, the bathrooms, which both are filthy. The food is OK. If you feel sick, you cannot sit out, they MAKE you play. There are many stinging jellyfish. You must get up at 7AM every morning. The staff is pretty nice. THIS CAMP IS NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY!!! IT IS FILTHY AND GROSS! DO NOT SEND YOUR DAUGHTER THERE EVER!!!!

I just came back from this camp, and I can honestly say it was filthy and sickening. This camp was just down right disgusting -- they made my unit clean the bathroom and there was**** and mold on the toilets we cleaned. The bay is filthy -- jelly fish, sea weed, and water that makes you itch. One day I wasn't feeling good due to cramps and I asked if i could sit out the game, but they decided they'd force me to play. The staff is crazy except for a couple of nice counselers. They forced me to pray to the lord -- what if one goes to this camp who has a different religion, or no religion at all? I understand they want the girls to build characters, but I'm sure there's a way to do that with out being gross. The showers were two minutes long, and when I came home my legs were so dirty. This camp was a disgrace, and people should only have to pay for $100 a week to come here. Do not send your daughter here.

I love this place! I’ve spent a few summers here and I wouldn’t have it any other way! The food is good and sleeping in the tents is actually good, I love getting to sleep outside. The staff is great as for the comment bellow of the staff member who left early you may not have liked any staff or how they treated campers but don’t worry we didn’t like you either Amanda. They treated us fine if we have to clean a bathroom big deal?! You just weren’t made for the camp doesn’t mean it’s bad. I think this camp is great it gives girls a great experience. I loved my time there and would recommend it! =]

i loved it. dont listen to the people making bad comments here. camp is not for everyone, you have to have an idea about what an outdoor camp is and what you are getting yourself into when you sign up. yes you have to clean bathrooms, but otherwise it would dirty...duh. the activities are amazing and the staff is great-fun loving and enthusiastic. obviously you wont like camp blue bay if you are an indoorsy person. if you love being outside, camping, and doing cool activities, go to this camp! :)

really really really fun camp but half of the people there are rich pricesses. its really fun though and dont go with a friend from home because its harder to make friends that way. they have a really cool activity building and the bay and creek are really nice on a hot day. the only problem are the outhouses but if u get kicoomba you'll be fine! i loved it :)

I LUV THIS CAMP!!!! I went there for the last four years and have a great time every year. The staff are fun and the food is pretty good. I love sleeping in the tents and had an amazing time. I made lots of friends and plan to go back next year. Oh the bathrooms are a bit gross but you'll live!!!

This camp was absolutely horrible. I just recently worked at CBB and I quit 2 weeks early because it was terrible. They treat your kids so bad. They make them clean disgusting bathrooms and treat them like workers. I didn't appreciate anything that they made the kids do. The staff was horrible. I didn't like any of them. Please don't send your children here. I thought it would be a great place but in reality it is HELL.

While this camp is a great place and generally has a great staff the facilities need a little work. There is no high ropes course, and the low ropes are limited. The same arts and crafts are repeated year after year, and the waterfront equipment is old to say the least. There have also been some very questionable nurses hired. Even with all the bad things, I have had some of the best summers there and highly recommend it to others.

READ MY WHOLE COMMENT IF CONSIDERING CBB! ok i went to a mini camp, 3 day at cbb. cried each night and day, not kidding and i am a kid that never ever cries. you'll never understand how much i hated this camp. this wasn't even like actual camp. this was like BOOT CAMP.TERRIBLE.the people are gross and the counsolers are beyond weird. i slept in a disgusting tent with 7 DADDY LONG LEGGS AND THE REST OF THE BUGS! WHILE I WAS SLEEPING A HUGE BEATLE FELL ON MY HEAD. NOT VERY PLEASENT. i am telling you this calmly, and rashionally. when i came back my parents were disgusted by the way i looked. i looked like a cake women that wasn't civilized. if you are a woodsy person that likes bug and stuff, and going into a DISGUSTING lake, have fun. if you are some rich kid that hates camping, doesn't like to go into filthy water, and HIKING FOR THREE HOURS STRAIT with no food, hey you'll love it. they also MADE me pray. DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT CBB!

ii loveerss thiis campp sooo much!iit iis amazing! ii started goiing iin the summer of fifth grade,and now iim 14 and am planniing to go back thiis summer,howeverr iim onlii goiing for two weeks.i thought the food at thiis camp was awesome,and iif you werent iin the mood or dident liiek the food they were serving,there was always peanut butter,jelly,and bread at the table.ii iimeediietly made friiends at thiis camp and the counselers were liiek big kids,but they stiil knew when they needed to act liiek an adult.ii would definitly reccomend thiis camp!

An excellent program! My children loved it. The staff was caring and involved. My girls came home smiling, singing, and eager to tell me all about it. The activities sound fun and exciting. My daughters will definitly be returning next summer. Great job, camp staff!
