Best camp ever - definitely the highlight of my summer each year. The staff is excellent, and since all are doctors, nurses, or respiratory therapists, parents can feel okay about leaving their child there for the weekend. Jumonville is a great location, with beautiful scenery, nice cabins, superb food, and tons to do. There is always something to do, and all the activities are tailored towards asthmatic children without making the kids feel like they are being treated differently because of their illness. Also, they have education sessions where the kids learn how to manage their asthma correctly. For some kids, this is the first/only time they get this and even in those that have learned I have definitely seen improvement. It's only $120 for four days and three nights - definitely a steal. I made so many great friends there, staff, counselors, and campers alike. I highly, highly recommend it to anyone with an asthmatic child.
