My children have been turned off of summer camp forever, due to their experience at tall pines. The facility is very under kept and the staff are all too busy on their cell phones to pay attention to the bullying going on!

Having spent my childhood at daycamps and then overnight camps, the camp experience is a big part of who I am. I wanted our kids to have magical summers and build lasting friendships as I did and Tall Pines is a great place for that. This is my daughter's second summer and she is ahving the best time. She is trying new things every day, even foods which she would never try at home. The activities are plentiful and diverse, as they should be for a 5 year old. The counselors are attentive and responsive. The directors are always available. Tall Pines has a familial atmosphere and its clean and green, unlike some of its competitors (and we did tour the competitors). While at some point I suspect my daughter will be ready to expereince overnight camp, for now Tall Pines his giving her the magic summers that I remember from my youth. I look forward to my youngest joining big sister next year.

My son and I had two miserable years' experience at a different camp in NJ, but what a change THIS year! His head counselor was actually a grown up and it made all the difference. He made sure he nipped their little boy scwabbles right away before they got out of hand, and no b/s calls home for nonsense. My son is seven and had a great time. I urge all the parents out there, if your kid's been labelled "difficult" in the past, you've got to try this place.

BEST CAMP IN THE WORLD the people are awesome and i made so many friends and it is just an amazing place i would do anything to go back in time because im a second year CIT and next year i cant be a camper!!!! *tear*

I was a camper here for many,many,many years and a Junior counselor for 3.To be honest,people do not get their money's worth. The 8 yrs I was a camper I had around 4 Counselors who were horrible because they did nothing and skipped half of the schedule,and sometimes these Senior counselors walked away for long periods of time,one or two counselors even harassed me,there still are some counselors like this there who are nice to the parents but end up being horrible to the campers.For the thousands it costs,there is no A.C. in the boy bunks, and some activities don't even have an experienced specialist watching the campers. I advise that if you send your kids especially the little ones, I would tour the camp during the summer.

this was the best camp ever from when i was 5 years old until like 11-12 amazing for young kids it was a big part of my life and the last day of camp felt like the last day of my life amazing camp

I <3 TALL PINES!! like the last anonymous person said...it is sooo magical!! anyone who goes there will have THE most magical summers EVERRR!!! the counselors are great...and you'll make great friends!! so go to tall pines day camp...where summers are magical!!

THIS IS THE MOST MAGICAL CAMP EVER!!! so i had this counselor one year and hername was kelly. wow she was horrible. really mademy magicalness die. but other than that i had magicals ummers
