I went here as a middle school student and it was great. The staff were wicked smart and had a real passion for science and they were fun. My old classmates still talk about it. The night lesson was so fun. I now teach middle school and teach my students some of the things I learned there. some of the old bunk beds were kinda scary though.

I went here in 7th grade with kids from my school two years ago. It was awful. The whole experience made me feel like I was being recruited by radical hippies. We had to listen to the staff sing corny songs about conservation and being kind to the environment, multiple times a day. They told us to use the bathroom 2-3 times before flushing! There were very few activities that we got to choose on our own. It was so not worth the $600-700 my parents paid for it. I hope my school stops offering this for the 7th grade field trip. The only good thing I have to say about it was that it was on a beautiful piece of land with lots of scenery, and the rooms were nice.
