This camp is excellent and always fills to capacity (130 kids/week) for the duration of the summer. I will continue to send both of my children to this camp until they are too old to attend. Staff is very professional and treats each child like they are the most important person in the world at any given time. MSP is an amazing summer camp! Kuddos!

During our orientation,we were told that Love and Logic would be used when dealing with disciplinary issues.Every day when I picked up my son,I asked how he did.I only heard that he was fine and he had a good time.3 weeks into the program, the director told my friend that her son and my son(7 years old)were the trouble makers of the entire group.When she told them to separate the boys,the director became angry and told her that she did not know her son and that he didnt have time to redirect the children.My son told me later that evening that the same director called him a bully and a liar.A meeting was called and I went with the intention of resolution but was met with arrogance and bullying from all the staff except one.We were told to listen to what they had to say and not interrupt.When I asked about the name calling,the director stood up and started yelling until he was physically removed from the room.After that display, I did not feel safe to send my child.They offered no apolog

The program as described is actually a very good program. However, it is staffed by highly unqualified and unprofessional personnel. They consistently refer to the children as being "bad," and refuse to advise the parents of any "problems." They do not want parental involvement in resolving any problems they may be having. They claim to discipline according to the principles of "Love and Logic," but discipline is strictly punitive. My child, as well as others, have been told they are bad, and told point blank that they were liars. The staff indicated they were having discipline problems with all of the children this year, and did not have time to inform the parents of the problems. It sounds like a systemic problem to me, rather than a problem with the children. Bottom line, I do not recommend this program due to the problematic staff.
