I hated this camp!!!! The staff were okay but they payed no attention to us whatsoever and were on their phones the whole time (even when we had problems) the food was disgusting and gave me lots of stomach aches (I swear I had food poisoning) however the activates were good but the price is unreasonable for this camp

I was a counselor here last year and I hated it. All of the campers are rich,spoiled obnoxious kids and they aren't nice. I went to a camp in Maine, and it was nothing like Manitou. They made fun of the counselors often. For all of those looking at this, don't send your kids to Manitou, it changes them forever and gives them bad manners

Seriously the best camp in the world! I've been going there as long as I can remember and have loved every summer so much. I count down the days until I get to go back to my second home, thats how much I love it. The staff are amazing and care about the campers and the food is amazing.The property is stunning, new cabins get added every year and there are tons of grassy areas to hang out if you don't feel like being in the cabin during free time. I love how you get to choose your schedule because it gives you a chance to do what you like to do. Overall it's an amazing camp and I would recommend it to anyone.

Camp manitou canada, is the best camp i've been to.this past summer was my sixth summer, and it just getts better!it is really good that us campers get to choose all of our activities! (except for freshkids.) the camp wide programs are awesome! world games is an amazing experience. Go Venezuela ! the only thing is that the C.I.T i got first month wasnt trained propertly.

Very clicky camp, that caters to weathy Jewish kids. All the girls wearing $200 sweat pants and displaying pictures of their sprawling homes and talking of the hired help. Not really a campy place where people learn to accept each other and get to know people for who they really are and not what they own. Most the kids are quite lazy and whine a lot. Pretty much a glorified Jewish day care.

Manitou is an amazing camp, the food is great and whoever says the foood is bad they obviously dont know the meaning of camp, yes the food is not fancy but its delicious. the hater who said it was the worst week of there life obviously isnt talking about manitou in ON canada, because the bobcamper program is only two days and the shortest you can stay is 2 weeks. Manitou is great with amazing activitys. And its worth every penny.

CAMP MANITOU IS THE BEST CAMP IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. i have made friends that i hope will last a life time! the activites are great and so is the staff. Its beautiful and full of excitement. People who say manitou is bad are insane manitou is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Leaving manitou at the end of each summer is sooooo hard. Manitou is truley the best camp in the entire world

Manitou is the best camp i've ever been too. I used to go to Wahanowin, but it kind of sucked because the girls were completed ****es! Even though manitou is still filled with Japs, i still love it anyway. Hey, at least i fit in there! CANT WAIT CAMP STARTS!! ONLY 70 DAYS!!!!

I was sentenced to 2 years of this "camp". It was stuffed with people whom had a background of extraordinary wealth and laziness. It seemed to me as if the idea of work was a nightmare to this cult, (for everyone in my cabin had nannies and complained at the shear thought of movement, let alone work). There is little to no substance in the mind set of the camp/campers, and one is surrounded by complete incompetence from the administration. Though the facilities are nice and there were a few ‘fun’ staff members, it was an awful experience.

Most amazing place in the world. I just finished my 5th year hear and i connot even explain how amazing this camp is. I wish i could be there forever, I mad so many friends that will last for ever and tried so many new things and met so many amazing people. I am so happy to be part of the giant manitou family.Counting down 'till next summer.

Best camp in the entire world. I cry for 2 days straight because I love it so much and I can't wiat to go back every year. You actually get to chose your own activities and not follow your cabin around every day like other camps doing boring stuff you don't want to do. If you went to any other camp and came here you would see you made a huge mistage going to the other camps. GO TEAM HEARTS, GARBAGE AND SCI-FI!!!!

I love manitou! it is the best camp ever i went full summer for my first time and i love it!!! Just like it said in my world games song Jumbo! MANITOU'S HOME!!!
I love Manitou even when i left for a family reason they welcomed me back so nicely and i can't wait till next summer i wish school was 2 months and camp was 10 i want to live there!

I think all the poor ratings are people who are getting it mixed up with other Camp Manitou's. One person wrote "OMG! This was the worst week of my life." Manitou doesnt even offer one week sessions. My guess all the poor ratings are ment for a diffrent Manitou. P.S. Manitou rocks my socks!

I grew up at this camp. As a camper and staff member for the past 9 years this place is the most important place in the world to me. For every not so fantastic person you meet there, there are 4 more absolutely amazing ones, most of whom i will never forget. I love you manitou.

Camp is not catered to everyone. Make sure you do your homework. Well intentioned staff, but a clicky camp. activities are amazing. More followup should be done when problems occur.

Manitou was a really good camp. But, I left after a couple years going there, cause I found that, after a few summers, it kinda gets a bit repetetive. But still, a great camp, and I suggest going there for a year or two.

I got kicked out for having razor blade (still don't know why), but before I did, I LOVED the drama class and the art class. We put on a play called "The Dragon" and I played a (female) knight . The drama teacher was a crazy British guy and he rocked.

This camp was pretty unenjoyable. The food was horrible. Are you aloud to feed the people domestic animals? I think we ate sparky, because this was really bad food. Maybe they could get a new menu or something, maybe some new cooks. Other then that the camp was ok.

Camp Manitou is so much fun!!! You will always feel welcome. Everyone there is great.even though it is fall i still am dreaming of returning!my summers are always a blast due to the variety of activities,fireside ,the food,the staff and campers and your alaround soroundings. i really know who i am their . i will charish my manitou summers for ever.

Camp Manitou is AMAZING. This past summer was actually the best time of my life. The staff are unbelievable, the activities are awesome and you make such amazing friends. It's an INCREDIBLE place.

has changed me so much....for the better. manitou is a place where everyone is accepted and you don't have to wear certian clothes or play certain sports...everyone can do their own thing and make life-long friends. itshoud get a 10 but iy only goes up to 5! go to manitou

AMAZING CAMP I WENT FRO MY FIRST TIME THIS YEAR AND IT WAS AMAZING AND I LOVED IT AND I HAD THE BEST CABIN EVER AND WE WON A STEAK DINNER AND THEY WERE SOOO NICE AND THE FOOD WAS REALLY REALLY GOOD!!!!
