The camp prides itself on being a camp that offered horse backriding. They indicate in there advertising "a trip to the barn everyday", however out of 5 days she only rode a horse one time. Other times were spent looking at horse, and brushing tails etc... We are switching to camp that offers more activities and more frequent horseback riding.

I love this camp!I went as a child and worked there as a CIT and Junior counselor. I got to meet a lot of counselors from around the world so that was cool. When I was a CIT the senior counselors were pretty rude but I still enjoyed the experience! LOVE YA RED!!

i love bette perot but sometimes the councelers are not the best but when i went i was so busy and thats good. the food is like amazing too. the barn staff is great!!

Horseback riding program is good. That was my daughter's favorite activity and she learned a lot. The pool was good too. What really bothered me about the camp is the lack of supervision over the girls. My daughter (5th grader who is not a troublemaker) got punched in the stomach by a 7th grader in the cabin who bullied her. The bully girl also hit her on the leg with a water bottle and the counselors did nothing to stop the bullying. Other than the lack of supervision and bullying, my daughter had a good time and the price was good!
