As someone who staffed for worldview academy I was horrified and utterly disappointed in my experience. The self righteous and toxic people who are in leadership and staff are a pretty good representation of the Pharisees. My faith was challenged in the worse ways possible by spending a summer with this organization. I had hoped it would be about helping and serving in Christ’s name only to realize this place was a pit of vipers. Save your money and don’t put your kids through this greedy and ungodly camp.

Atrocious! Man as a young person dealing with what I believed and my identity this place crushed my faith. After this I threw down Christianity. Luckily, after a long time Jesus did find me again, and I’m happy that I now know what faith doesn’t look like. They say the devil is a master theologian, well this camp exemplifies this. They humiliate people who are broken, lost, ashamed. They teach arrogance and exude a smug sense of pride. Honestly I believe these people will be the people Jesus will say, “I never knew you.” Parents if you want to send your children to a camp that teaches “churchianity” and give them a faith that will not stand send them to this camp.

My son was shamed by staff for a camp endorsed activity that resulted in an accident that was not the fault of my son. Camp staff publically humiliated my son in front of other campers before finding out the specifics of the accident. My son was shamed and crying the remainder of the camp. Camp staff was verbally abusive and untrained. This was the worst camp experience of his life and he will never return.

I went here several years ago. It's indoctrination, pure and simple. I am still Christian, but what they teach at Worldview is the most narrow, conservative creationist view ever. In fact, they LIE about science and pretend they're presenting you the "real" science that the "secular" scientists won't give you. Later in college, I had a Christian professor who revealed the truth of evolutionary science, BOTH SIDES, not just a pro evolution model, and I realized how much Worldview Academy lied just to make you believe them.

If I could give ten stars i would. This camp was absolutely incredible.I will never experience anything like this again! I learned more than I could have imagined, and was given the ability to question what they were saying, they did not just say here is what I believe, know you believe it. Instead they gave every one a chance to question and even doubt what they said. They gave you a way to ask questions and get answerswithout worry. I honestly would recommend this camp to anyone.

This camp is quite dangerous. I attended about 15 years ago as a young, Christian teenager, who was homeschooled and ate up everything that was fed to me. My biggest concern with this camp is the way they indoctrinate very young minds to believe a very specific, conservative, narrowminded worldview. They have some cliche lessons that get people ready to 'debate' anyone who wants to discuss evolution, why it is wrong to love someone of the same sex, and they cap it off by bringing these young minds into the world and praying with people to try to 'save' their souls. There is precious little room for debate, and alternative ideas. There is very little room for science. If you have not brainwashed your kids enough on your own, take them here, and the job will be finished. And 15 years later, you kids will resent you for doing it more than you will ever think possible...

They preach hate here. Avoid at all costs. Examples include Bill Jack dressing up as a homosexual and provoking hate from students.

Worldview Academy challenges teens in a fun way. It teaches the youth of today to really think about what they believe and why they believe it. I paid for the camp myself and it was completely worth the money. You not only learn about your faith but how to challenge others to really think about theirs. I would strongly encourage any one to go. You learn a ton, but also have so much fun. The relationships that you build with your leaders and well as your group are also priceless.

This is camp for thinking kids, not "fun and inflatable objects" camp. Yet the staff and speakers manage to make serious stuff fun, and even funny. It's not for everyone, but it is for kids who want to go deep with God and think hard, think well. They have locations round the nation on college campuses; some better than others...; their staff are volunteer or it would cost much more I think

I have to agree with the previous reviewer, this camp did not have a lot of activities, but, of course, this is not what the camp focuses on. This camp is for teen christians who want to strengthen their faith and become stronger leaders. Although you were sitting in a chair for 26 hours of lecture time, every second was worth, both eternally and for monetary value. I strongly recommend this camp for people who want to become closer to God and to learn more about other religions, while defending their own.

Unenjoyable, unexciting, and unrefundanle. Other than the decent facilities the camp was, quite honestly, not worth the money that i had to fundraise to go. There was a general lack of enthusiasm and excitement about the camp and the few activities that did take place were highly awkward and all around boring. Overall I'd give it a 1, maybe 1.5 stars out of 5.
